Please double check what I replied you here on the forum.

1. I haven't mentioned any words saying our customized hubs with ceramic bearings, I said we have extralite hubs and DT 180S hubs with ceramic bearings options.

2. I said I am not familiar with hubs technical design etc. We just ordered these hubs from Taiwan hubs factory and they are with 36T rachets. If any warranty problem happens on the hubs, we would carry that. We don't sell these customized hubs at expensive price, just reasonable, many brands hubs are customized in Taiwan.

3. The most important things, we don't sell anything on Taobao or Aliexpress, I said we don't offer any cheap stuff with uncertain warranty like those vendors, we just offer quality products and good service after sale as all my clients know

4. Why I did't reply your email, since you asked same questions here and I already replied here too.

Sure, if you don't want carbon spokes option, we offer aero Sapim CX-Ray, CX-Delta spokes , Pillar 1423 spokes, and other normal alloy spokes, so that you don't have to use our customized hubs, maybe DT Swiss, extralite, TUNE, T11, King, Carbon-TI or Bitex disc hubs instead

Anyway, thanks for your questions,  I am not professional on the hubs sfuff though :)
Even though i'm not actively looking forward to buying new wheels, i must say that i'm impressed Peter. I'm impress with how you answer questions, discussing options and straight forward about the prices. Bravo. I may not need a new set of wheels now, but i sure know where to look for them in the future lol.

I'm going to build my 168 with a SRAM Force AXS groupset, with a DUB crankset. What kind of bottom bracket would you choose? I was leaning towards the official Sram BB86 DUB BB, but I'm worried about the durability. Maybe I should go for a more premium BB, like Kogel, C-Bear or Ceramic Speed? What do you think?
Like the other person said, your best option would be a Hambini bottom bracket+24mm crank. That being said, if you're a cheap skate like me, i'd get a Thread-fit design BB for 24mm spindle from aliexpress (from brand like GUB, ZTTO,...), swap out the original bearings, change it to NSK/SKF bearings (i forgot the dimension, but just make sure the inner race diameter is 25mm), get a plastic shims for 24mm spindle like for Shimano BB (you can also get this from Aliexpress) and done, you'd get the best bang for buck BB imho. Although Hambini doesn't like that design because of its stiffness (or lack thereof and i agree with him), i dont really care. It works.for me lol.

Have you check out Tantan FM629 and LightCarbon Lcr007?

I don'tt want to make a new thread, so please don't kill me for a double post.

I was browsing Aliexpress as usual and found these wheels:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002368594848.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_groupList.8148356.2.749b2e5bBy7hZy&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21EUR%21€%20848%2C36%21€%20695%2C66%21%21%21%21%21%402100bb4c16617180101313465ecc09%2112000020357475494%21sh
Roughly 720€ (with VAT included, seller claims that you don't need to pay VAT upon checking out, so it works out to around 570€) for wheels with flat carbon spokes and DT350 hub, which is fair bit less than Elitewheels BWS. Does anyone have any experience with the Explorer brand? They offer few different weave patterns, including the same marble look as Elitewheel Drive, on top of that they have a wide range of hubs, which makes me think that they lace wheels in house rather than just rebrand them.

P.S. I am not affiliated with that company or anything like that.
I've never heard of them tbh. I'd rather bought from EliteWheels or SuperTeam. Tantan/Seraph even has a lot of different options (they have 12k weaves +240/350 just like those wheels too)

so far I've built bikes using frames from Ican (are them the same as trifox?), tantan/seraph, lightcarbon and velobuild. My personal ranking in terms of quality and customer support:

Lightcarbon
Ican
velobuild
tantan/seraph

If the budget is tight velobuild is the only option, but be aware that you will need plenty of creativity to avoid eventual issues.
Oof. Is Tantan/Seraph really that bad? I was going to buy a set of frame and wheels from them. May i ask what was your experiences with them?

I had Sensah cable actuated Hydraulic discs, I do not recommend them. Go for Sensah groupset and add Juin Tech as brakes. Then use compressionless cables and you have excellent braking.
I thought Juin Tech brakes ARE cable actuated hydraulic brakes? Am i missing something?

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie here :)
I've been on this forum only for 2 month+, during which i've learned so many different bike manufacturers (if that's what they are) that sells open mold frames from China such as Velobuild, Tantan, Longteng, Hongfu, Dengfu, Lightcarbon, Workswell and many other "legit" Chinese bike brand like Ican, Trifox, OG EVKIN,... So many more.

So I was wondering if you guys can help me by listing some bike frames that looks almost identical to each other across different brands, even big brand names like Specialized, Canyon,...etc
For example, Velobuild VB-R-068 = Tantan TT-X22 = Specialized Venge, VB-R-218 = Pinarello Dogma F12, VB-R-099 = Tantan TT-X21, Tantan TT-X19 = Specialized Tarmac SL7, Tantan TT-X2 = Twitter Thunder (this is quite a common bike in Vietnam),... so on and so forth.

This is just a small fun thing to me as i like to learn more about bikes. I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks
