S5 clone is on AliExpress, have anyone tried it? How does it ride?
I'm not racing any more, no need to spend $10K on a bike, but I do like the look.

I have an alloy frame 27.5 ebike since 2020.
Bafang M620 is overkill for any type of riding that I do.
So far with approx. 500 miles on it, zero problems.

I bought the frameset on eBay back in 2018, it was under $500 with free shipping.
I don't think the seller is still on eBay anymore.
Seller originally sent me the wrong size frame, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back and kept the frame for free.
I built up the smaller frame and test rode it, it was just too small for me, so I sold it to my neighbor for cheap, it was a good fit for him.
Replacement frame was purchased at significant discount for the mistake of wrong sized frame.
It fit me much better:

I bought those wheels over 5 or 6 years ago from eBay, seller cannot be found anymore, I think I paid less than $400 for those wheels with free shipping to USA.
25mm width carbon rims with dimples, some generic hubs, bladed spokes; rock solid wheels for me at 175 lb. I think I have at least 3k miles on them, still round & true.

I didn't build my Chinese carbon frames/bikes with particularly lightweight components, but I think they turned out pretty light in comparison to my other road bikes.
2018 Chinese S5 replica 17.4 lb.
2017 Chinese Aero frame 18.45 lb
2018 Chinese carbon TT bike 22.6 lb.
Though not Chinese made, these are my other road bikes for weight comparison.
2001 Litespeed Ultimate 19.16 lb
2016 Lynskey R240 21.0 lb.
2018 Chinese S5 replica 17.4 lb.

I built four road bikes from Chinese carbon frames between 2017 & 2019.
All of them purchased on eBay with free shipping to USA.
The first one was sent the wrong frame size to me, filed a dispute and got to keep the frameset for free.
After completing the build and test riding it for few weeks,
I sold it to a neighbor who actually fits on it better than me. He's been riding it ever since, with close to 2k miles pedaled.
The replacement frame was sent the proper size that I ordered.
Built up in 2019 and been my all around riding.
Third frame was aero road frame, cable routing was PITA with the handlebar, only wish it had disc brakes.
Last build was a TT frameset, built up with wireless shifting.
All of them have been ridden regularly.
I don't ride nearly as much as I used to since 2020, but still very fun bikes to ride.
