I was also looking for a 135 mm saddle but settled for this 140 mm Mixed 7d which has been great https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EyOPbSp

Hi all,

I’m looking at these CSC gravel wheels but I can’t decide whether to got the 40x30mm or 35x28mm rim. So basically 23 vs 21mm internal width.

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/1005006281662446.html

I run 40mm wide tires but want to keep options open for tyre sizes between 28 and 45mm. I mostly ride smooth gravel with occasional rocky single tracks. Not looking for aero gains but some weight savings conpared to old Mavic Allroad alloy wheels.

The trend seems to favor wider rims but I feel like 21mm internal might be sufficient.

Any comments are appreciated! Also in general wrt these CSC wheels.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: ZRace Disc Brakes

Which brake pads is everyone using with their BR-05? I’m currently using the green Soocent ceramic ones which have been good when dry but sometimes a bit noisy when wet. I need to change the pads soon and was thinking if there are better options available.

Here’s a picture of my finished bike. Steerer tube will be cut once I’m certain about the cockpit position. I’ve ridden around 500 km and am very pleased with the frame, no issues while building either. Mechanical Apex groupset and Mavic Allroad wheels came from my previous bike, rest of the parts are from Aliexpress.

I’ve had the 7D on my gravel bike for around a year, so far it’s been solid. I bought it since it was one of the only ones I could find in 140 mm wide.

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Scratch in carbon fork
« on: April 26, 2023, 02:49:13 AM »
Hi all,

I was careless while packing bikes onto a car rack and as a result something rubbed into the carbon fork of my CWind gravel. The scratch is about 10mm long and 3 mm wide. It’s through the paint, I don’t have a caliper but would estimated that it’s around 0.1mm deep.

My initial thought was that it’s mainly cosmetic, but your opinions are much appreciated!

Br,
Juha

I noticed that Cwind now offers the GT20 with a T47 bottom bracket https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004927226677.html. I ordered one, expected to arrive in late Jan.
