Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Microck replica tarmac sl8
« on: September 03, 2026, 01:08:58 PM »
I'm in the market for a new bike. I originally planned to purchase the Tantan X68, but it appears that it's no longer in production. More recently, I've been considering the new TT-X68, but I prefer the look and lighter weight of the previous model.

From what I've read, Microck is the parent company of BigRock. However, I've noticed that Microck also sells several replica frames on its website. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the Microck replica Tarmac SL8.

If so, how would you rate the quality of the frame you received, and what was your experience like dealing with Microck in terms of communication, shipping, and overall customer service?

Does anyone know if the seatpost on this model is similar to the one on the Specialized SL7 or the SL8?

It'll fit an SL8 seatpost

Hello, I'm looking to purchase this frame after completing my military service. Could you please measure the standover for me? I've been comparing geometries, and no matter how I look at them, the manufacturer's standover numbers seem strange. I have short legs(165cm height 75cm inseam), so standover is important to me. Please help me. Thank you from South Korea!

I believe Grind Poland uses the same frame without the aero seatstay feature, they provide standover height measurements under geometry.

You can find the groupset on eBay I think

It's cheaper to buy via taobao, I've heard the groupset is region locked this could create issues with set up and software.
