I might see experiment with this once school is done for the year but wouldn't you be able to 3d print like a holder that attaches to the heart rate strap? Another way that my friend suggested was use hair clips and glue them onto the device kinda like these. Anyways we should make this a separate topic as it could be a good alternative to the core sensor.

So I talked to someone on the St. Georges Continental Cycling Team about this the past week. And I'd suggest what Kwantani's saying, if you're racing they are not comparable to the GP5000s but as a mid-range tire to do club races and train on 100% definitely try the 120tpi tires from China as that's as close as you can to having GP5000s without the price tag, but like I said it will not be as good as actual GP5000s if you're looking for all out performance.

I saw you tried the H496s, have you tried the Arisun's yet and how do you think they compare if you have? Just curious as Arisun seems to be Chaoyang's premium brand but doesn't make sense to have the Arisun R1's as their flagship model if the H-496 is pretty much the same tire.

Hey guys was just wondering what's the difference between the Chaoyang H-496 Merlin and the Arisun R1's? From what I'm seeing is they're pretty much the same tire as they have the same compound but the Arisun says 330/3 TPI while the Chaoyang's are just 120. Wouldn't the Chaoyang tire technically have a higher TPI? Thanks!

I'm kind of on the edge and just need some convincing. So I see this frame is part of VB's closeout sale. Do you guys' recommend it enough to use as my next race season's frameset? Also any idea if I'd be able to run a separate bar and stem on this frame or any stores I could get the dimensions I need for the integrated bar.

I've been curious and more or less on a whim I bought the Velobuild replica of what I believe is the Selle SMP Dynamic saddle. It's their long standing classic. You do not move back or forth on this saddle at all. No sliding towards the nose and having to readjust your bum when tucking down. I'm very intrigued.
You do however have to live with the way it looks. The best thing about the design of this saddle is that most of the time you're sitting on it.

You are definitely putting me on some gems with your findings. I've been looking for a saddle like this but couldn't find one that wasn't just full on carbon. Will definitely have to try it out. Also going to try Serenade Wheels during the summer.

Thank you so much, I just didn't know where to start looking because the generic usual Ali bike brands were popping up. I found some as the stores just kept popping up after looking at yours. Only problem is they only sell in groups of 3 so I guess I'll have extra lower bearings so I won't have to worry about trashing it for winter's to come. Also it's a lot cheaper than buying from FSA.

Does anybody know where to get good bearings on Ali?

Just checked my headset bearings and they've started to rust I'll keep them for the winter but will probably replace them when summer comes.

These are the headset bearings that come from my bike, it'd be nice to know where I could pick up some replacement ones.

Most of them are Look compatible pedals but the recommendations come with cleats anyway. Also from what I searched up the companies that people were recommending also made SPD-SL pedals just in case you don't feel like switching pedal systems.
