Thanks! I think I'll give it a go. I also wonder if the smaller sizes have ever so slightly more clearance to the fd due to steeper seat tube angles. I'm going for a size 49. Probably only 1-2mm difference if anything but thats the kind of clearance id be working with. I'll post an update in a few weeks.

Is there space for a grx di2 front derailleur with the thunder burt in the rear? I think it needs ~40mm of clearance from the front of the derailleur to tire. Would you mind taking a measurement from the mounting point to the tire for me? Thanks.
