I bought a CX095D (the all-road/cyclo version) just before they stopped selling the frame. They offered me paint & decal options and it took some time to decide on this... but last week a package arrived.

As the frame is not (and probably will not be)  available I do not start a build thread but briefly report out here. Starting with some first pictures.

Color is white metallic, with some subtle dark grey decals, both in gloss finish.

Interested to hear what the tire clearance is like for anyone that receives one. Per previous posters i'm guessing its actually 42mm (with ~6mm each side of that which is the industry standard gap for quoting clearance). So maybe good for up to a 45c tire in practice.

Not fully on topic, but I can share some clearance info on the Yishun CX095D which is the 'all road' alternative of the G095D. This means it should support op to 38c tires (instead of 50c) according to Yishun product info. Looks like the main difference between both models is the size of the rear triangle. Given the recently update geometry specs, the all road version has 10mm shorter chain stay and wheelbase compared to the speed gravel. Front fork looks the same.

I do not have the frame at hand, but from detailed data I received I can conclude for the CX095D:

Rear clearance, for 38mm tire:
- towards chain stays: 8 mm (both sides)
- towards seat tube: 19 mm

Front clearance, for 38mm tire:
- towards chain stays: 8 mm (both sides)
- towards seat tube: 18 mm

I would say rear clearance towards seat tube could be quite a bit bigger for the G095D given the additional chain stay length of 10mm. Not sure for the side (towards chain stay) clearance. Also if both frames would share the same fork, 50c will not fit I would say.

How do you sign up to the newsletter? Or does it just happen automatically when you start corresponding with them?
Indeed. At least that was the reason in my case.

ordered from who?  yishun doesn't like to do retail
Not sure if they like it, but they do retail. Maybe on a selective basis.

Looks like the R1018 can be ordered. I received Yishun's newsletter yesterday telling this frame is 'Ready to ship'.

Looking to build myself a bike with this frame too. Watched most (if not all) Youtube content on this frame and now I'm a little worried about chainring clearance based on this:

YouTube Search: My Rinasclta Granite Is FINISHED! - Aero, Gravel, All Road

Patrick/patliean1: you did use shims on your crankset to increase clearance for the small chainring w.r.t. chainstay right? Was this strictly needed to enable motion or did you want to increase safety margins in case of heavy usage?

My Granite frame is complete.

Only gotten a chance to ride it up/down the block to get sone photos. Will report back after a few rides.

-Size 54
-Weight: 7.9kg w/o pedals
-Ultegra R8020 (50/34 + 11-34t)
-4iiii Power Meter
-Yoeleo 35 Gravel Wheels
-Pathfinder Pro 38c Tires
-Prime Doyenne Aero Bars
-ZIPP 130mm -17 Stem
-FSA no.69/SRS Headset
-Fully Carbon Saddle
-Supacaz Bar Tape
-Kogel Bearings Ceramic Jockey Wheels

I see you build up with Ultegra R8020 (11 speed) which has a 43.5mm chain line, whereas Shimano (but also Campagnolo) 12 speed groups have 44.5mm chain line. This will probably save a shim in my case already, as I want to build it up with Campa Chorus 12 speed (48-32T front).

Have other people experienced chainring clearance problems with this (or the equivalent Airwolf YFR066) frame?

Hello community,

I have a related question as the one of the topic starter:
I'm looking for a Chinese frameset and I'm considering to combine this with a set of carbon wheels from the same supplier. Requirements for me are similar as discussed here.

Quite some frame suppliers also offer carbon wheels, often with customization options for rim depth, spokes (pillar, sapim), and hubs (Novatec, DT Swiss). I had a detailed look Tantan and Airwolf and both have a broad selection of aero wheels. They sell around 400-700 usd depending on material choice.

Does anybody have an opinion on the quality of such wheels? I would think it is an OK choice regarding safety/reliability but not top notch for performance or weight. Will they be inferior to a set of Elite wheels?
