I also use the Elita One seatpost since 2 years and about 10000km on my road bike without any problems.

I just received an Elita One 27.2 350mm carbon seatpost. Upon attempting installation it cracked at 5NM. It seems tightening compressed the post instead of tightening the collar.

Additionally, the two bolts provided were either different sizes or one was defective. One accepted a 4mm allen key perfectly, while the other didn't at all - it was either deformed or had something like a 3.5mm head, despite the diameter and thread pitch being identical to the other (longer) bolt.

Yes, it is indeed freshly waxed. The chain was making an enormous amount of noise though when it was cleaned to just metal.

I'm curious the measurement of the headset bearing cover? Looks like 15mm. I've got a few setups cooking on a bike-stats.de geometry table that I'm trying to work out..

considering Speeder R49D / TanTan X38 / SPcycle R065 at this point.

those super thick seatposts just look painful to me these days

you're supposed to use a saddle

Nah, same frame, chi city mane got you on this one.

Great looking build. Curious about tire clearance, how big a tire measured do you think would clear?

I wouldn't say it's not  racy geo.  Depends on your measurements.  Venge is relatively neutral.  If you've got a long upper body it's definitely not ideal though.

Yishun are LightCarbon AFAIK.  So unless these are business only models, you should be able to order them.

But it's possible they may be B2B only.

The 3cm spacer stack must be factored in, it throws off the stack/reach ratio. No way around it.

Looks like there's plenty of clearance for a front fender

All bikes looked the same before the 90s, so it's nothing new.

Any word on tire clearance? Officially 30c, looks like there's not much extra space there with Pat's 30ish mil 28s.
