Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / cfr696 chainring offset
« on: August 19, 2025, 12:02:42 PM »
Hi
I'm planning to install a new 42t chainring on my cfr696 (Easton ea90 crank). Would it make sense to go with a offset to reduce friction/noise on the 10-51 cassette (Grx800)? How much offset is possible and advisable? Thx for any advice.

Is anybody 6'4, 193cm and has the XL of this frame? Is it big enough? I already have the 696 in 61 and it is a great fit. Thanks for any help.

Hi, first post  :)

I plan to install 105 di2. Would a subcompact 48-32 work?

Thx
Olivier
