The 35mm GP5000 S TR will fit same as Goodyear Vectir R XPLR, looking at BRR measurement, the GP5000 has even wider thread and is taller :-D So no need to wait for 40mm.

Task is simple use right offset of the chainring instead of spacing the crankset. Using spacers will move your whole cranks to the side and potentially cause some fit issues. On the other hand 45mm chain line should not harm the system. On my regular Eagle AXS I have switched between wide and normal cranks multiple times and did not have issues here.

I did run cheap Deckas rings with flattop chain and they worked fine, you need to test it. Look at the teeth profile, they were similar to Sram own chainring on the ones I had

What is you frame clearance? 32mm GP5000 S TR on 25mm id rims is 34.4mm wide, on 32mm internal rim it blows up to 37mm, so 35 would be close to 39mm. Your best bet would be 29mm internal for 32mm tires if you have 35-36mm clearance. Weight wise, I built myself 64mm deep 32mm internal wheelset with brass nipples and it came up at 1480g.

I am currently running 64mm deep and 32mm internal width rims and it is positive jump from 25mm internal I had previously. I personally would look for something wider internally 28-32mm, with 40mm tire it stretches to 42mm on 32mm rim. Depth depends how comfortable you are in the wind. I have been running 65mm wheels for years, but my gravel wheelset has 1480g with brass nipples, which is in the end lighter than my old road set.

I had no issues keeping up with friends on road using 45mm G-One R and RS Pro (F/R) (48mm actual width), on rougher stuff it is a blast and I still am at the point going lower with pressures.

I have Eeasedon 64mm and 32mm IW rims, love the way how they ride, currently set up with Schwalbe 45 G-One R Pro at front and RS Pro at rear, they have 48mm measured it is a proper weapon. I would ditch assymetric rims, the spokes are shorter, so that has not as big impact with angles as shallow rims.
