Component Deals & Selection / Re: KORE wheelsets
« on: September 09, 2026, 07:10:23 AM »
Just wanted to share a disappointing experience with KORE’s Zoom Store on AliExpress.

I bought a Titan 50 gravel wheelset through the AliExpress Trial section at the price offered to me there and paid for the order normally.

Shortly afterwards, Zoom Store asked me to cancel because the wheelset was supposedly out of stock. A little later the same wheelset was available again, so I asked them about it.

They then admitted that the actual problem was the price:

“At this discounted price, I can't even buy two rims.”

and later:

“It was my mistake, I'm sorry, but I can't ship the item to you.”

I’m not asking KORE for any additional discount. I simply bought the product through an AliExpress promotion at the price AliExpress offered me, and I would expect the order to be honoured.

I have refused to cancel the order from my side and AliExpress has now escalated the case to senior support.

Since @KORECycling has previously confirmed here that Zoom and the other AliExpress/Temu/eBay stores are KORE’s own sales channels rather than third-party sellers, I thought this was worth sharing in the KORE thread.

Hopefully KORE can look into what happened here. I was actually quite excited to try the Titan 50, so this has been a pretty disappointing first experience with the brand.

I’ll update the thread once I hear back from AliExpress.

I assume you mean power not dropping to zero when coasting or something along the lines? Seems like you deleted your post on this, so I'm guessing a bit 😅 I'll keep an eye on that during the next ride!

Yeah, I guess he refers to that.

From the BiNavi thread (also GPLama made a video about it):

First impressions (based on one week of riding):

Bad
- sticky watts - apparently due to be fixed by end of September - but the fact that it launched with this issue is very bad and creates trust issues (what else is it not recording correctly?).

Update: support got back to me and said to pair over Bluetooth instead. Magene only supports a bluetooth connection when connecting to its app, and only supports ANT+ when connecting to a cycling computer. These functions previously worked on a Garmin 530. Pressed this a bit further and just got - in short - too bad, can't support all third-party products. I get that, but it's disappointing to take a step backwards compared to the Garmin 530 - the signal is clearly being broadcast properly over the ANT+ protocol as that is how the Garmin is working with it. Liveable, but frustrating.

So if your Power Meter supports Bluetooth connection, maybe you could test if that helps.

Am i the only one minding the ghost watts? I'd have thought it'd almost be a deal breaker for anyone using a power meter? I sure AF wouldn't have bought mine had i known that would be a problem, let alone one that would never get fixed because igpsport clearly gives 0 F about it.

I am dealing with the same issue with my BiNavi. I thought they would have fixed it by the time I get a powermeter and bought it anyway. Guess I was wrong. But what about ipgsport's support suggested workaround using Bluetooth instead of Ant+. Did anyone test this?

I have been trying to find them on Ali the last few days without any success.

I reckon you refer to the weightweenies post?

That was me.
Lead time is still 25 days until shipping so seems like production did not start yet.

I just received my Ryet saddle. It just came wrapped in a plastic bag without any further instructions.
What is the recommended torque for the seatpost clamps?
