this will work, but works even better if i swap the jockeys to shimano profile?
sounds like a plan

I have no experience with the older ETAP system as I am using the Force AXS derailleur. The newer AXS works with the 36t cassette and has the larger pully profile. Not sure if the older ETAP derailleurs are the same.

Another upvote for the Supacaz clones from me.
    [/list]

It has been my go-to for a while now but I find it wears through the pattern after 3000 km or so. I love the feel and don't mind replacing it once or twice a year.

Any ideas/suggestions that there is something worth of buying in 1/2 or 1/4 price of the 12s SRAM AXS damn expensive cassette?
I've heard that tha cog spacing is a little bit different than regular and it is not working buttery smooth.

I did a little experimenting with my 12 speed road SRAM setup.

Shimano chain and everything else SRAM and found it noisy and shifting was OK at best.
Shimano cassette with the rest SRAM is quite good but only if trimmed gearing near the middle of the cassette.
Shimano chain+cassette shifting was better but still a bit noisy.
Shimano chain/derailleur + changing out the derailleur pully wheels made the most difference. Shifting was great and noticeably quieter.

I am using a Shimano cassette on my trainer but have gone back to full SRAM on the bike as I picked up a 10-36 SRAM cassette at a local shop for $150 and the Rival flat top chains are just as cheap locally as the KMC Shimano are on Aliexpress.

I am swapping in a re waxed chain every 500-800 km to get the most life out of the parts.

I have tried all the above scenarios for a couple weeks each except for the Shimano chain alone as I was not happy with it.

Sorry about this, not sure why I broke this page, I didn't mean to, maybe I was trying to upload pictures. How to fix this?

I doubt you broke anything. Poor script writing for the website would be my guess.

My body just seems to get along so well with Pinarello geometry.

I have had 2 genuine ones in the past and still have my old race bike from 2000. I have never had anything more comfortable geometry wise. Would LOVE to see someone start making the "X" style frame. I hear those are excellent.

Look Mondrian, but allergic to blue? interesting :)
If you ever consider selling it, you might want to add the c'est la vie as a vinyl decal yourself. That way, you can change your mind every month and change the logo, and if you sell it, you remove it so it's more neutral for the buyer.
My tractor logo is vinyl, 9000km, hasnt moved. Flawless. And would have been impossible to position it just right if i had asked them to paint it.
    Tcheu ste panthere !

I have a hobby vinyl cutter and do this as well. I also use it to make stencils for airbrushing and such. On my g056 I tried each of these but was finally happy with the final one although I was partial to Willie Nelson as a troll logo but people didn't get it LOL

ALSO, are you running 180mm rotors an a fork built for 140/160 ? If so what adapter is that ? - Nevermind, I see that those are post mount calipers. I am still looking for a nice looking flat mount adapter. I may have to make one myself.

For those interested, this frame as well as another new one is listed on Geometry Geeks.

After some thinking I think this is what mine will look like. A bit of an homage bike if you will.
Please don't roast my photoshop skills LOL

Interested to see your build too

He sent a picture measuring the rear chainstay and it should easily fit my 35mm Gravelkings. It will be set up with wireless SRAM and used on and off road.

I am ordering this frame as well. I will be painting mine - just need to come up with an idea. I just did a g056, have my old Pinarello in prep and just stripped a 68' Grandis Superleggera. My brain is hurting a bit LOL.  Looking forward to your build.

See the attached geometry and some pictures for CS-R01 frameset, size 54cm is around 950g, max tire size is 700x32C, T47-68 bottom bracket, available sizes: XS/S/M/L

Should be perfect for a road/light gravel all road bike. For those interested it's already on geometry geeks.

I don't want to sound like a coolaid drinker, but i've rebuilt my rim supersix hi mod with 25mm (expensive) tubulars, whole bike weighs 6kg, and done a couple of rides on it, after riding my LT268 for the whole season. It feels bad descending because it's jittery AF (tyres), it feels bad on bad tarmac (tyres), i'm not materially faster uphill (comparing max efforts). That frame is the himod model from 2015,

I have the same bike with probably 30,000 km on it (bought new in 2014 full w/full Ultegra). My climbing times were better  than compared to now as well as my sprint but it is NOWHERE as fast (flats/downhill) as this new g056 with gravelking tires and I am a little heavier and lower FTP  :o. To be honest it wasn't as fast on flats as my older Pinarello race bike that had 60mm HED tubs.

I am going to be more road focused though. Just confirmed with Peter on the new road frame they have CS-R01. Chain stay is about 42mm at the tire so my goldylocks 35mm tires should fit !

The official tire is 700x32c but do you think a 35mm wide tire would fit? I like a narrow all road/gravel (very low knobs) tire and the other specs of this frame is exactly what I am looking for.

Everyone has a different taste but imo most people chose ugly paintjobs and spec it with not the best fitting parts. Is a very sporty looking frame with long slammed -17 stem. Also can't agree it's a dog uphill. Mine climbs like a dream. Weight 8.5kg is good for a gravel bike.

Each to their own opinions I guess. To be fair I ride 80% road so I am comparing climbing with it to my SuperSix, Opera or even a Master I have that was designed in the 80's. Also it's not quite as good climbing as my CrossCheck on or off road but WAY more stable. It's also heavier than yours at about 21lbs with no accessories, 2x SRAM Force AXS and 50mm Elite wheels w/35mm Gravelkings set up tubeless - size large.

I do love the bike and is my daily rider now and I also like the unique look.

    14
If they build wheels for Elite then they are WELL built. I ride them quite harshly (jumps, hoping curbs etc) and last night hit a massive rock doing ~30kph on a gravel track (getting dark) that nearly threw me off my bike and not a mark on the wheels. I weigh 115KG and the wheels are ELITE X-WEAVE- tubeless w/35mm gravelking ss tires. DEF be buying another set new year when I build another bike.

FWIW I went through the Elite store and it took 2.5 months for delivery with 3 delay requests from them. I WAS getting nervous LOL

I'm probably going to write-off the G056 and G068. No offense to the owners, but after looking at thread pictures of built frames, I didn't find them visually appealing.

Very fair point. I built up a g056 for the very reason it didn't look like every other bike out there. It's a bit of a dog going up hills but fast as hell on level gravel/road.
