Component Deals & Selection / Re: Chinese cycling clothes

I've got the following 4 in XXXL (I'm 178cm and 98kg, but heading in the right direction) and the fit is consistent, probably slightly smaller than a European cycling XXL. Fit and quality feel very similar to a XXL DHB Aeron lab jersey I have.

Interesting designs, but do they really say "An Undefined Rider" on the jersey?

Yeap. Or these from Riro. Just decide whether you want to carbon rings or aluminum. If aluminum, maybe look for ultegra rings on a used market or AE.

Both links above are the same, did you mean to add a 2 different links?
Do you have any experience with these Riro chainrings? Are the aluminum ones not recommended?

Yea that will work. Make sure to select the one with the 4 bolt 110bcd spider. You will need to use the included spacers to adjust for your BB width.
For chainrings, Stone is what I have and are good but in way are they Ultegra or DuraAce quality in shifting. You want light and cool looking get those, otherwise, stick with shimano.

Thanks Crazyravr for confirming and the info.
For the Stone chainrings, I assume this would work:

I am looking into getting this crankset below and could use some help making sure that it is compatible with my bike.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009549219633.html

My bike is a 2017 Giant Defy and has a BB86 Pressfit bottom bracket. 24mm Spindle diameter. 86.5mm length frame shell, shell diameter of 41mm.

I will also need a new chainring to go with this crank, any advice on which double chainring (50-34T) to get?

Thanks!

Could you post a link to what you are using? Maybe just what I got was a shitty copy? Because honestly, what I had was absolute crap. Think flimsy and cheap plastic inserts that didnt even clip into the insoles properly.
Are these the ones? If so, I have no idea how you guys can recommend this.

This is the one I had purchased but it hasn't been in stock for almost a year now.

On another note, did you end up getting the LEESE Carbon Cranks? and if so what's the verdict?

Good to know G8 copies exist, I was dreading to buy new ones when my arch pieces wear out, it's hard to find them separately. I wonder if the arch pieces fit to the original G8 insoles.

I bought these in the past. Out of the package, into my shoes and then straight into the garbage bin.

I have been using a similar pair from Ali for little over a year and they have been great.
I would like to get another. but when I had bought one a year ago they had individual sizes, but now it's either a wide range or OOS.

Yeah it seems like a good choice with the titanium axle and a pretty good price.
Let me know how it goes as I am looking to get one towards the end of the year.

Well it's not really a clone if it all comes from the same factory
Another Cybrei clone. As always, should be fine

If these Leese cranks are the same as the Cybrei's, how come the Leese ones are so much cheaper?
Note that I was not able to find the Cybrei's on Ali.

I am also looking for something similar.
What do you guys think about this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009549219633.html?

I do not have any suggestions for you, but I have had a similar issue with the same Cruz 160mm cranks on my road bike and I have recently been battling with a creak, which after months found out that the threading on one of the crank arm bolts is stripped. For now I have used some loctite on that bolt which seems to have stopped the creaking.

I am also looking for some new cranks (160mm).

Wondering if you know the difference in the two BB's you posted. I needed to change my BB and I ordered one similar to your 2nd link, but it does not fit and the current BB seems to be similar to your first link.
Both are BB96 24mm. Just wondering what the differences are so that I can know what to look for.

Thanks

what kinda BB86 do you have?

fake G8 insoles

i havent tried authentic g8 insoles but these are cheap as chips and work well for me. ive been using them for over a year

The real ones cost over $100 iirc

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805604633625.html?channel=facebook&fbclid=IwAR39Kd1LtDdXYhtfLicUDkvbcLqwPc6I8EZEDhP2lRlnqxNvuhlzFylLfmU

I have these. Two pairs which I've been using for >2yrs
they're really good for the price and solved my issues with shoes, I definitely needed arch support and the 'common' insoles I've tried didn't work. Found these on Ali, bought one and another after around 3 months to have as spare (they actually went out of stock for a year or so, came back some months ago)

my experience is that they work really well, but the plastic on the arches is not the best, it starts to soften after some time. So like I started with the no.3 arch but it turned to a 2 effectively, so I had to change to a 4 to keep the support as it should.
Also the glue between the plastic part below and the foam is not good, if you get any water in it'll detach. But easily solved just glued back together

other than that, is really nice, and for sure worth the price. A fraction of the real one, but of reasonable quality, and the customization is worth it.

I am interested in trying these insoles but unable to find any on Ali, can either of you show me an option or let me know what to search for.
Thanks!

I have this.  The light isn't really that powerful or worth it if that's what you're looking at it for.  If you have a Garmin with USB-C, though, it's a great battery extender (and a zillion times cheaper than the Garmin one).  I have an older one with micro-USB and have used it with a converter - not quite as elegant, but still not a bad item if you do long rides.

Thanks for feedback. Do you know if the mounts supplied are compatible with Wahoo computers?

Has anyone tried this RockBros bike light? It also works as a phone charger.

Hey Jonathan, wondering if you ended up getting this or something else and how you like it.
Thanks.
