32C clearance, or 32mm? There's no standard. Sometimes a seller will start saying 30C, then start saying 32C instead because it's what clients want to hear. My lt268 has plenty of clearance for 34mm, or more. Velobuild 177 claims to clear 32C but various users showed that it doesn't.
Best is to ask the factory for the CAD drawing and how much space there is between seat stays. That's what long teng sent me when I inquired before ordering my lt268.
In theory, 32C clearance should allow you to run 32C with a 33mm rim. For aero purposes, I'd suggest 30C on 33mm rim though, as the 30C will measure wider than 30 on a 33 rim.

Serge,  thank you for the clarifying information.  I mixed up clearance with wheel width.  I’m leaning towards the CS-R01.  Peter sent measurements of the chainstay which put it around 38mm at the narrowest.  By my estimates that would give the frame 2.5mm (5mm total) on either side to clear a 33mm OW wheel.  I like to go as wide as I can to support 30-32mm tires.  I’m just unsure if 2.5mm is enough clearance or pushing the limits of what the frame can support.

Finally got my hands on the wheelset and so far I'm happy with it. 65mm rim with 26mm internal with in-house hubs and pillar 1420 spokes weight just under 1500g. The paintless finish looks fantastic. 30mm Schwalbe Pro one measures around 33mm and sits flush with the rim

What frame are you running these on?  What’s your max clearance?

I want to run 32mm tires on a new frame with a max clearance of 32mm.  Wondering something like the 26mm IW/33mm EW is pushing it a bit far unless I get something like the LT 301D.

Don't know to be honest, I'll be trying to run 30s maybe even 32s so I'll be able to give an update on how that goes when I'm putting it together

I look forward to your update.  Right now it’s between the R01 and the LT 301D.  I’d be comfortable with 33 OW on the 310.  For the R01 I might opt for a 28 OW just to be safe.  Intention is to run 32mm… but would love the option to go a little bigger.

Do you have rim brake Wheeltop groupset? How's the brake lever action, snappy like Shimano or sloppy like SRAM

Regarding the brake action, they work pretty good.  I didn’t notice any difference between the Wheeltop or R7000 brifters.  I did recently try the EE knock offs.  Purchased back in Sept.  Those work but nowhere near as responsive as my Ultegra R8000 calipers.

I purchased the Ltwoo ER9 for 380.00.  I already have Di2 on one bike and Wheeltop on another.  I figured for the price I can experiment on a new build and see where it stands compared to the other two.

I mean only a year ago I was paying 200.00 for R7000 minigruppos… full electric with hydro brakes, I’ll gamble on it to see how it performs.

Would it be advisable to run 33mm outer width wheels and 32mm tires on this frame or should I just stick with a 28mm outer width?

Peter couldn’t provide a definitive answer but he did provide pics of the rear chainstay and it seems like there would be enough clearance.

BL: looking to build an all-arounder with slightly more relaxed geometry and wider tires.  I have mostly been riding more aggressive aero bikes but getting super low has exacerbated some long standing injuries.  Trying sustain this hobby for the long haul and not have my body pay a huge price on recovery after a 2-3hr training ride.

I have the Seemee200 one model down from yours. The light it creates is great, love that it lights up the ground around you, definitely makes you very visible. The battery on my model is not very good, but yours is quite a bit bigger than mine so hopefully that means the battery is bigger too.

I have bought a whole bunch of stuff this 11.11 including a set of Go-Zone wheels! 45mm deep 30mm wide and 1250g supposedly, hopefully these will bring my bike down to around 7kg!

I’m struggling.  Keep wanting to get a pair of rim brake Go-Zones (300.00 with coupon) for my training bike… but I’m also going to order a new frame in DEC… delayed gratification.

20 inch wheelset, 26er fork, two larger purchases to hit one of the coupons as yet.
Next lot to hit another coupon - chains, Ti bolts, fishbone cables, misc spacers, etc.
And one last (and probably biggest) for a 700c wheelset from GoZone for "just in case"!

I had a set of 21mm ID Go-Zones in my cart.   So tempting.  I decided to wait until I settle on a frame and get something with 23mm ID for a little more.

My wife says it's technically not "saving money" if I'm actually buying stuff I didn't need

I know what you mean….  Next year’s build is gonna be a departure from my more race oriented frames (not that I race).  Dr. recommended that I start riding more of an endurance style frame to relieve pressure on the back.  Got the wife on board, so now I just need to sell a bike or two.

I caved today… Got ER9, a Lexon 24mm crankset and few other items.  Stocking up a new build next year.  Based on prices over the last month, I saved between 150-200.00 overall.  Almost pulled the trigger on some carbon wheels but I couldn’t find what I wanted.

I haven’t noticed any issues with the paint.  It’s pretty tough, front is matte and it transitions to glossy in the rear.  No abnormal chipping or scratching other than from riding it
hard.

No experience with the EVO, but I picked up a 2021 Falath Pro disc 2nd hand early last year.  Put several thousand miles on it with no major issues.  One word of warning, the saddle clamp sucks.  It took a few tries to keep it from slipping.  Once I got it locked in I have no longer had issues with slipping.  I get a lot of compliments on the paint job even though I didn’t choose it. Also, my experience has been that their BB shells are undersized.  Other than that its been a pretty solid training bike.

Regarding the question about headset bearings.  They are an odd size.  I could not find an exact match of their bearings anywhere.  Ended up ordering a replacement set from Elves US distributer.  Did a full tear down and rebuild.  Fairly easy to work on.

Probably going to switch over to a Longteng 301D in the new year. Going to move to something that is a little more versatile.

What's the general consensus on this group set?

I would say it’s good and I’m pleasantly pleased with it.  Have ridden it all summer.  No major issues.  It’s definitely quirky and takes some time to get it running smoothly without any chain rub.  RD shifting is quick and reliable.  Running 11spd currently but might upgrade to 12spd just to see how it does.

FD is slow, really slow. I do not shift under load.  I have mech 105 and Di2 DA 11spd and both are faster at shifting.  All that said, I have never had an over shift or chain drop with the FD.  Super reliable once set up.  Previously, had SRAM Force for 1 yr, overshifting chain drops all the time… (small-big).
