Yeah tough to tell from pictures if it's safe or not. Have a local shop or carbon repair shop make a judgement in person if you want to be sure.

Technically, the bearing should be fully supported on the chamfer, and therefore the 52 inner diameter being slightly oversized shouldn't matter from a functional point of view. Now if the chamfered part is oversized you'll indeed have preload problems.

If you can't get a 52mm bearing to fully seat, you could pop a 51.8 bearing in there to see if the chamfer is correct(fit full headset, fork, stem, add preload. No play = correct seating), and then make decision to either have it reamed or just use a 51.8 bearing.

You have a picture of the full frame? Curious how it looks. Also what's the fork axle to crown? That's some wild tire clearance you mentioned.

Looking at this frame as well.

Reading the ride reviews I read people experience it as a stiff bike. However the weight seems so low to the point it even makes me wonder if it's too good to be true.

How come LT seems to pull of these kind of weights, while the ''reputable'' brands are often quite a bit heavier, even for similar silhouette frames. Especially the LT forks seem stupid light for such a tire clearance and Axle to crown length?

I'm not the lightest at around 77KG. And to counter that weight I need to put in some power to get actually moving up hills . Seeing a 330g fork weight makes me wonder how they get it as light as an Open Mind fork for example, which is one of the skinniest fork I've ever seen.

Looking at the size L. Can anyone with real world riding comment on the perceived flex from the fork/frame? Also under braking/descending etc? Any concerns on longevity/safety?
