To pump but it’s for emergencies.
It fits in my current tool pouch the I carry in my jersey.
I also have the Nana. Works perfectly, weights nothing and occupies no space.

« on: November 20, 2025, 11:28:40 AM »I made a second iteration. This one actually had some planning behind it so it turned out much better than last time when I was making it up as I went. There are still some errors (I wish I remembered what I was doing when I sketched out the fork crown 2 mm further forward than the head tube) and some things I didn't have the foresight to plan around, but for the most part it's alright enough that I can put it through some cfd. The fork even turns a full 360° without contacting the frame. Should still clear 40mm tyres and geometry is a touch more aggressive
When I posted the first design, a user messaged me that they saw some prototypes from XMCS, so they are probably far along enough in production that if there are any similarities, they probably arrived there separately.
I won't clog this thread further so it'll probably just be a private passion project from now on.
I really like this design and the intended geometry. Please keep sharing it perhaps in a separate thread?
I belive it can inspire both users and manufacturers in the forum(s).

The 360mm-385mm, 120mm seems really interesting. Post pictures when available.

« on: March 21, 2025, 04:16:09 AM »I can't tell much on this new frameset at present, size 54cm would weigh around 895+/-30g (painted with the hangers and bolts mounted), yes the FD mount is removable. Frameset would be sold with our new handlebar.
Is it possible to share specs/pictures of the handlebar? Thanks!

Raw finish looks good Peter. What kind of ride quality the frame will offer in terms of stiffness for both front and backend?
Which is the expected weight? Is the FD mount removable? Frameset will be sold with handlebar too? Can you share more pictures?

We are going to build these rims with carbon spokes and our hubs. The promotion price for below combo wheels would be 635 USD/pair excluding shipping, lasts Dec 24 :

Carbon Speed hubs 54T rachets TPI ceramic bearings center lock straight pull for 100*12/142*12 with Shimano HG driver

The weight for this combo wheelset would be around 1245g/pair
And we are doing 20/20H version lighter hubs which won't be released until 2025, it will save another 40-45g on the wheels by then.

today I was finally about to install my new Yuanan Wheels today which I received some weeks ago.
But then I noticed that the rear wheel is unbalanced. While it is (to my eyes) perfectly trued it is wobbling (uneven weight distribution).
The front wheel doesn't have this at all.
I then did try to look into spoke holes with help of a fleshlight and noticed amassed and displaced carbon fibres and resin at the point of unbalance.
I tried to take pictures but it didn't work out too well.
Is this acceptable? I had expected my new wheels to be well balanced when coming fresh from factory.

PS: Not sure if what I did photograph is actually causing the unbalance, but it doesn't look fine in that area for sure.
this does look like the moulding bladder remains that where not extracted properly.

The weights are spot on with the original one for both frame and fork. How much did the seat post weight?
The only major difference visible from the pictures is that the original has visible carbon layers on the head tube and front half of the top tube.
Can't you just peel the stickers? They seem to be over the clear coat (just like the original rtp)

I purchased a LCR017 in June and received it a few months later, paid 712$, a bit less than you because I didn’t ask any customization. Did you request any "z tier" when ordering your frame?
Upon inspecting my frame, I discovered significant voids in the upper seat tube area. I reached out to my sales contact, Carol, regarding this issue but have not received a response yet (WhatsApp and email). I also used the contact form on the Lightcarbon website to inquire about my frame situation.
Just to clarify, I am not seeking for clicks on my YouTube channel, as someone suggested in response to one of my comments on Hambini's video about the same frame model. I simply want to share my experience with the Lightcarbon. Here's the video,
Eventually, I will do another one if Lightcarbon keeps quite about my case.
