Just FIY, I have asked the support about the compatibility between GEX and TX front derailleur : "EDS-TX is not compatible with EDS-GEX at this time, and the timetable is not available at this time"  :(

Also they would not give a timeframe for the GEX 2x release but that is understandable "cannot share more details at this time"

Hi all,

Also before ordering I had completely forgotten the question of the aerobars, which I would really like to give a try to.

I am guessing (and Wing is telling me) that the CGB02 are not compatible with aerobars; which makes sense.
But then I found https://www.controltechbikes.com/products/item/417.html and I thought that maybe there was a way to make it work with a one-piece aero cockpit?
[edit] there is also this kind of mount which could work https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006263236960.html ?

There is also the option to use the more standard CGB01 or CHB003, but I really like the look of a fully integrated one-piece aero cockpit  ;D
(or other AliX vendors; I haven't really leaned into handlebars topics yet)

Who here has installed aerobars on their frame ?

Hi all,

I am about to pull the trigger on this frame for my "all-road" bike (i.e. with 2 sets of wheels).

Now comes the question of the groupset : I definitely plan to go 2x (probably 50/34) b/c that is what I have now and clearly 1x won't do for my use case.
But I am a bit afraid of routing a hydraulic 2x groupset fully internally.

Who has done it? How would rate the installation: easy, doable, painful, should I just forget about it and go di2/AXS?

Hello all,

I have just received a pair of ProX wheels and I am trying to make them work on an old bike frame with QR dropouts.
https://www.proxcarbon.com/prox-ultra-light-carbon-spoke-wheels-c66db-disc-brake-carbon-spoke-road-wheels_p71.html

The front wheel works fine using a standard QR adapter 12x100 -> 9x100, but the rear one is too big.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006596535497.html

I have tried using DT Swiss adapters I had lying around: they fit but the bearings (?) rub quite badly, especially when loading the axle.

I was hoping someone could point me in a direction of alternative end caps that could fit the purpose ?

Asking ProX support: they do not support QR so no luck there. But I am trying to order spare end caps and file them down to size.

PS: the goal was always to use these wheels on my next frame, so I am not too worried. I would just have liked to test them on the current frame, and be able to mix and match old/new bike parts.
