I hope this isn't too off-topic, but I do really wish we had more YouTubers etc. going to China to test ride and showcase local brands' bikes, not just the same old repetitive factory tours. It's crazy that SUNPEED, one of the bigger budget brands in China, is only now getting showcased on a notable YouTube channel. Instead, all we get is China Cycling showcasing the most overpriced stuff you can find in China and China Rides doing a review after a 30 min ride around the block, while all the YouTubers visiting the country make videos of similar looking factories.
(Would be fun to see some content on different routes on YouTube, too, since from my experience, China feels like the best place in the world to ride. Qiandaohu beats Lake Como any day of the week!)

That's funny, the expander is the only part of the FSA headset that I can't get to work properly with my setup.

Not a fan of the first two, but the third one is beautiful imo.

Not a big fan of my T4 Ultra, the clamping mechanism is too finicky. The tops being so wide isn't a major issue to me and I honestly quite like the upsweet. Not worth the annoying clamp, though. Was considering replacing it with the LightCarbon bar, but decided to go for the Bigrock instead for no real reason.

I wouldn't worry too much about the safety standards, the real brands (the ones mentioned here) should all be tested against the same ones. The Chinese safety standard and the European one are basically the same.

That struck me as odd as well, but I think it's because Virginia Tech changed their star system last year, so it may have been 5 star when it released but then got downgraded to 3 in the update.

I've bought a couple over the years. PMT Miduo 2 was fine, Sunrimoon Alien fit was odd for me and their Phantom's QC was horrible. Currently using a WWW that I'm surprisingly happy with, but I believe they only sell on Taobao.

I own an SWG long sleeved skinsuit. Got it for like 600 RMB. The material is the same as my Spexcel jersey, which is to say not great, but not terrible either. The sleeves aren't very stretchy, so I had to size up to even get into the suit.
I also ordered and returned a UKE suit. Same exact material, but I ordered a women's suit for a tighter fit and my legs are clearly way too long, not even sure how anyone could be comfortable with the length they use there.

I ordered and returned a Phantom 3D-Grid model, specifically the red one. The ratchet at the back can be moved up and down, which is nice, but was stuck too far in when I received it and I had pry it out with a knife following the instructions from the seller on Taobao. Ended up getting it out and it was extremely loose. Put it down on the table with the shell up and the ratchet slid all the way back into the stuck position. Luckily, I still had time to return it.

Assuming that's just a one-off QC issue, the helmet looked super cool and the 3D printed liner is pretty interesting. It's kinda weird, though, in that your scalp only actually touches the middle liner, not the ones on the side, but upon pressing down the helmet (like an impact would), it squishes nicely and then the second set of liners can engage.

I also ordered the Alien model in size L, but it didn't fit me at all. Assuming I measured correctly, my head is about 58 cm, so it should fit, but it was too big. Maybe a rounder head than mine could've fit better, though. For reference, I have an Ekoi Aero16 in size M that fits fine and a WWW AR0 in M that also fits nicely.
