To those with who have R280 hubs, do you know if there is any 3rd party compatible freehubs? I need to change from HG to XDR.
They are compatible with original DT Swiss star rachets version freehubs.

Particle GCX52 Hyperlight (52mm deep, 25int/32ext) - 1022g

XMCS T1100 w/ new Lightweight Hub (50mm deep, 26int/34ext) - 1052g

Both are UCI approved. And both are freakin amazing out on the real roads.
Actually UD paintless finish UL layup  about 1020g without rim tape

Do you expect the new layup with HS606 hubs to also pass UCI approval? Also is it possible to get the new big XMCS decals in laser-silver colour on the new layup wheels?
Our wheels can easily pass the UCI standard (40J), UCI approved stuff means nothing on quality point, it is only meaningful for selling and UCI race event. We will arrange more combo wheels for UCI approved though, including HS606 ultralite hubs too.  And yes all our decals can be applied onto all our rims.

We have arranged 50/50, 58/58, 65/65mm 26mm IW T1100 version built with R506 hubs 20/20H and carbon spokes combo wheels UCI approved, I believe they will be listed on the UCI official website soon. And the 58/58mm combo wheels are wind tunnel tested with very good result, compared with some other brands wheels.

Already got some good news, but really excited to know more detailed results, we just keep up our work to make high quality stuff.

Hi Peter, do you know whether Zipp ZR1 Freehubs can be installed on your wheels too?
I'm also aiming to swap the Shimano HG hub on my XMCS with the SRAM XDR hub on my Zipp Firecrest 404

Sorry, probably not

Hi, have XMcarbon 65mm deep 26mm internal wheels with Shimano XG. I need to change hub to Sram XDR. Do you know what hub i need to looks for? getting one from China will take a while, though i could use some DTswiss or smth
Original DT Swiss star rachets version freehubs are compatible with almost our hubs, except the non-released HS608 rear hub

Hello Peter, I am excited to see how the aero frameset performs. Hopefully, you saw earlier posts that toxin suggested about the fork area. After the wind tunnel tests, are you going to improve the frameset further or just release the frameset as it is?

Why to do that if the bike is fast ? The mold fee is not cheap.

1037g only, 26mm internal 50mm depth T1100+T800 layup D50CU-33 rims built with HS606 ultralite hubs with titanium 54T rachets TPI ceramic bearings aluminum Shimano HG driver, 3.2mm super light carbon spokes.

Does this mean it will be available to buy after April? Or before?   8)
Size M and L will be available in April

12
Will you also take your other frames (and wheels) to the test?
Some 58mm wheels I think, but I don't think we would send other frames, since we will have this aero frameset testing compared with other brands fast bikes. Also we got quite a few feedbacks on our Gran Turismo bikes, fast, even endurance geometry.

I do wonder if Peter will use a full blown wind tunnel facility like Silverstone UK or the one down in Sydney Australia with the Nero Show dudes. Or just one of those janky portable wind testing machines like Winspace uses  ;D
Haha. Silverstone wind tunnel testing it would be. We should be able to do this in April.

T1100+T800 layup D78CU-33 rim weighs about 487g UD paintless finish, pictures on 78/78mm and 65/78mm rims UD paintless finish

@PeterXu i don't know if it has been asked before, but will you offer a zero offset seatpost option for the gran turismo frame?

Thanks

Yes, now we have zero offset seat post for this frameset, so you can choose either the offset one or zero one.
