Yes, but he still put spacers on the axle. I asked him what size spacers he put in, but I didn't get an answer.

Unfortunately, the Q Factor of a road crankset is too narrow. The chainrings will rub against the frame. You could theoretically add axle spacers, but only a limited number, which likely won't help. Before the frame arrived, I asked Spcycle about mounting a Shimano 105 crankset, and they replied that the frame was designed for GRX cranksets with a larger Q Factor.

Hey.

Unfortunately, no. I tried a Shimano 105 7000 crankset and it didn't work. I now have a GRX 1x crankset and it's fine.

Please tell me if this crank with these chainrings will fit without a problem. I'd like to install a Shimano 105 7000 crank with 46-34 chainrings, but Spcycle replied that it might be a problem. What are the distances between the chainrings and the frame?

I already have this crank and t47 85.5 bottom bracket setup, tested on a CWIND GT30 gravel bike, probably the SPCYCLE G058 equivalent. I'm more concerned about whether the crank with these chainrings will fit in this frame and whether Continental Dubintal 29x2.2 tires will fit. The GRX crank doesn't fit me due to the size of the chainrings.

Hello. I've already purchased the frame, but it hasn't arrived yet. Regarding the crankset, I'm using two sprockets: a 46 and a 34, mounted on a Shimano 105/110 BDC crankset. I asked Spcycle if such a crankset would fit in the frame, but they replied that the frame was designed around a Shimano GRX crankset. Of course, once I receive the frameset, I'll check the compatibility of my crankset and let you know.

Hi. I had the exact same problem. The expander was at fault, as it wasn't able to compensate for the play in the headset. I bought a DEDA 70mm expander and applied some carbon paste to it. The problem disappeared.
