Component Deals & Selection / Re: Best SPD-SL Style Pedals
« on: August 17, 2025, 02:53:08 PM »I have a pair of LFZ titanium spindle pedals. They seem well made and I am more than happy so far. The feel clicking in and out is very comparable to Shimano pedals, I would almost call it the same. I have only used them for ~1000 km so far, so no comment on durability. I would avoid these to my disappointment. I got a pair recently, that looked like the 2024 new version, and there was only one sealed bearing to be found when I took the axle out. Even worse, the place closest to the crank where you expect a bearing to be, maybe a needle bearing, was just a piece of plastic. On further inspection of the Ali reviews, there is someone mentioning it too. It’s not very aspiring for longevity.
I sent them back and received a refund. I wish it was otherwise.
