Thanks.

I've asked Carbonda to supply a headset and two different covers so when I get my fit sorted out properly I can have everything tidied away as is the way now.
one to allow internal routing and the use of an ACR like stem/bar combo (C2)
one to allow internal routing and the use of external cable bars and stem (C3)

Just waiting for some "here's your bike sprayed in the way you want it" pics.

Agree they are ugly. You can get around it by doing what I did which is using a different dust cap (as you can see I used the FSA ACR 55R  one) but with the carbonda compression ring etc but it’s quite an expensive way of doing it if you have to buy a whole new headset upper! Does look better though

So this thing:

with these

?

(waiting for mine to be shipped - went without bars)

or just buy this :

Correct, but they don't have a 120 x 400 mm integrated stem and bar handlebar....

I'm after something similar (and as trustworthy) in 120 x 400.
Any links appreciated.

These bars:

I can't see them in 120 x 400, has anyone got them in this size?

My wheels arrived on tuesday and I am nearly done with the build now. Got to cut the brake hoses and the chain to finish it.

The build itself went smoothly so far. I only had to detach the handlebars twice because the jagwire I added to the rear brake hose was rubbing in the headset.
I can't weigh the bike reasonably as a whole, but the components added up to 7562g. That's before the fork was cut etc. and with sealant pedals and everything included.
more pictures pls!

Joining this thread again to try and ask about respraying/colouring. How do you send over what you need?
I have a colour scheme I want but it's subtle transitioning.
Any help in how to send the requirements, rather than pictures or poor wording would be great.

Do you know the max chainring size in 1x and 2x setups?

Just to clarify - if you had / have a carbonda bike and you want to share some pictures of the paint you had from them that would be great.
thanks!

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Carbonda - paint
« on: March 03, 2025, 09:43:14 AM »
Hi
I'd really like to get an idea of the types of paint job Carbonda can do.
I'm pretty certain I'm getting a 505-sl, but when it comes to paint I'm not sure what I want. glitter, simple gradient, one colour, two colour? With velo bike they have examples on their page, carbonda: less so.

Pictures are better than words!

I've just built my Carbonda, are you wanting front wheel dynamo or rear?  I found the rear hydraulic exit was quite tight but the front I think would be able to squeeze in some cables.  Could easily widen the hole if not
Probably the front - but it's not going to be a definite deal breaker. I'm not even sure I'd use dynamo tbh.

Has anyone routed dynamo cables in to this frame?

13
Sorry to keep asking questions in here - but it seems like the right place:
is there internal routing for a dynamo on this frame?

email from Wing (v fast)
bottle cages and one under the bb.

15
Sorry for asking more questions - I'm speaking with Carbonda, what mounting points does the SL come with?
I don't want frame warts all over the place, i only need two bottle holders rather than fork mounts, bb mount, top tube mount etc.
