29'er full susp boosted rear
« on: January 02, 2017, 08:13:29 AM »
Hi,
I'm looking for full sus 29'er frames that have a boosted rear triangle and can handle 3 inch tires max (29+). I know lamere has one, but i'd like to see some more options.
happy new year.

best regards,

Ruud
ps. the register question "what year is it?" should be updated.

Not a real Chiner, but the Salsa Deadwood SUS is a 29+ Fully. Already being discussed here http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,1157.0.html

Oh, this sounds interesting. But probably too late for 2017 season, I guess. How specific was he about the timing? Any intel about geo or travel?
I was looking very much at the Lamere Dopamine, but it's simply too expensive if you have to ship it to Germany.

On Feb 12 he said in the next 3 months. 120mm travel. I asked for geometry but he said they were still drawing it. I wish i knew where they were getting their inspiration ;)  Any hints Peter?   ;D

Can't wait for the specs. Can't wait for the frame, actually.
Short chainstays but 100mm+ rear travel would be cool. And please create an XL version from the start!

Any Update on this frame? I thought about maybe doing a transalp with that lightweight 29+ machine end of July, instead of my  Specialized Epic.
