What frame did the 036 copy?

Anybody know what name brand frame the 036 Cloned?  It kinda looks like a Scott Spark but not quite.  Any ideas??  Thanks!

I do not think that the IP-036 is an exact, carbon copy (pun intended) of any single model from another manufacturer.

My IP-256 really does not look like a Scott Scale at all, but the geometry is identical.  I think you are correct, the IP-036 is similar to a Scott Spark if I remember correctly.  This should be very easy to verify, no?  Ask Peter at Iplay for the geometry for the IP-036 and compare it to the Spark on Scotts website?

It's closest to a Scott Spark.  If you look at the dimensions, they are pretty close, some numbers are even the same.  I've ridden a Scott Spark, lengthy demo ride, and it rode very similarly to my IP-036.

That's not how I would measure seat angle on a frame.
Try drawing a line from the centre of the BB through the centre of the top of the seat tube. You should get a more acurate picture. HTH

Until they create theyre own Chinese bike brand from the ground up and all frame manufacturing is done in China, we have to assume anything coming from China is a copy of some way.
