Looking for carbon hardtail recommendations and feedbacks
« on: December 23, 2021, 09:32:21 AM »
I have my eye on two frames at the moment for an xc build.
I will be using mostly for commute and light to medium trail use.
My requirements are:
29er
boost

I have not seen much reviews about Spcycle though that would be my first choice bec of the geometry and weight.

Spycycle SP-M028

I would appreciate your feedbacks, comments and especially suggestions.
Oh, btw I am in Asia and have not much access to US ebays.
Cheers

I've ordered two of these: http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3366.msg32282.html#msg32282
As it was a more modern geometry, they should be in painting right now, not yet shipped.

I know Haideli have some issue with the AM831 debacle.
But I did order them few frames 4/5 years ago, and they are still fine.
And they are good to deal with.

That was one of my choices as well... I like the bottom bracket being threaded against the press fit one but I already have a seatpost and dropper post that is 31.6mm. Plus that frame has no port for an internal dropper post.
As for the geometry, the fork length changes the head angle and using 120mm would put me at the same 68.5 degrees.
Thank you but I do look forward to your pictures and review please.

I think the upper port on the left side allows also to pass the dropper hose.

Sorry for my poor english.

I think that is for the brakes and rear derailleur.
