Integrated cockpit similar to Roval Rapide
« on: November 15, 2024, 03:37:37 AM »
I'm looking for an integrated cockpit similar to the Roval Rapide integrated cockpit. I was going for the real deal, but first, it's not made in the size I need (380x100, only 380x90 and 380x115 exist) and second, the availability is pretty darn bad (even for other sizes!). There are a bunch of straight "knock-offs" (some even with fake Roval branding.... ugh) on Ali, and many of them even come in the stem length I need.

Any recommendations? Something a bit more reputable and less fake perhaps? The Avian handlebars look interesting, but I don't really like the compact reach and -10° angle.

Edit: FYI the cockpit needs to fit an original tarmac SL8 frame.

I'm very happy with these, I've bought like 8 by now I think. Don't buy their frames though.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

Thanks. Unfortunately these bars also have -10° angle though... maybe I'm too picky, but I don't want a high spacer tower, so I'd prefer something like -6°.

Honestely, the Roval rapide is not -6 deg in reality. I've seen people making the swap from a normal (-6deg) stem to a roval cockpit and they needed to raise it with 10-15mm of spacers.
As a general comment, make sure you have your ideal geometry figured out in advance, before going for a integrated cockpit.
