Workswell wcb-r-268
« on: May 18, 2020, 07:42:53 PM »
Hello.

The other day I received a notice from WORKSWELL for a frame called WCB-R-268.

 Aero frame
 Frame weight 1120g(lightweight version 980g)
 disc brake
 Integrated stem/handlebar
 drop-sheet stay
 Maximum tire clearance 32C

It looks like a very good frame.
The geometry looks the same as Aquila's EVO.

Has anyone bought one?

My WCB-M-062(MTB) frame doesn't want to die despite lots of abuses.
And will retire as my home trainer bike.
However from the experience of some other here, when things go wrong, it looks Workswell after sale service is quite bad.

Thank you carbonazza-san,

I searched the site with the keyword "workswell", but no information came up.
Thanks for the information, I wonder if workswell's products are of lower quality?

I don't think they are bad quality.
Just that if things go wrong, like it can go on any branded or non branded frame, they don't seem to stand behind their products.

I was also interested in the WCB-R-268 when I saw pictures of the first few bikes, it looked like a great valueand high quality crit racing bike. Since then, they have changed the forks in the newer models and the geometry is looking more relaxed (see pics attached), look at the end of the forks and the head tube length. It is hard to know exactly what has changed because bikes look different depending on sizing. Maybe this is what the majority of customers want? I just thought it was worth mentioning.
