Chinese floating rotors

Has anyone been running Chinese disc brake rotors? How have they done and how do they compare to others? Just ordered some ZTTO 203/180. (https://a.aliexpress.com/_dUKUdCL )

They look awfully similar to these https://www.uberbikecomponents.com/category/482/Radiator-Disc-Brake-Rotors, which have many good reviews.

I suppose anything will be an upgrade over my RT54s

ZTTO is a good brand in general

Still waiting to build up a bike but I bought the ZTTO 203/180s also. They look great, and all the ZTTO stuff I’ve gotten has felt really well made. They even have nice packaging, a rarity for AliExpress.

My experience is very bad.
I had not a constant sensation in the brake lever, all like the thickness of the disc was not equal. I also had the feeling that the disc was not rigid enough.
Came back the avid centerline very fast!

The rotors finally arrived! Sadly park season is over and that is really the only place where I see extensive prolonged braking, but I will be testing them on my fat bike throughout the winter. I have only done a little testing, but so far they seem legit. There is no play between the carrier and the braking surface itself. There is no pulsing in the brakes as numberzero was talking about with the other discs. The packaging was pretty sub par, and of them is slightly out of true.

There is also a warning on the back that says not to use them for downhill or aggressive all mountain use! The aliexpress photo did show them seriously smoking one, so I guess time will tell. Anyway, I will keep this updated as time goes on but so far they seem to OK.

I bought a pair very similar to this on AliExpress. They both arrived out of true. I think it's important to order from the ZTTO official store and not another vendor who happens to be selling the same item $2 cheaper.

Running these ZTTO rotors 203/180 (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32964686346.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dXio7UE) for now 1.5years in combination with Magura MT Trail breaks and EOOZ pads (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32849687048.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dtc1lOk). Absolutely working fine so far, 0 issues.

I've now got about 880 miles on the front 180mm rotor. Functionality is perfect, no issues there. It does have some pulsing action to it, but this isn't noticed on trails or hard braking. Main point there is don't get these for a road bike. My only other issue is that it has got a pretty good squeak high pitch squeak to it.

My verdict is that these are definitely safe and worth the money. If there is no cooling effect, at least they look cool.

Are they for sure a sandwich? In the photos its hard to tell.

I have 1,500 miles on a set of 180/160 on my FM936 that I ordered from ZTTO official.  They arrived true and are paired with SRAM Level TLM brakes, first with stock pads and now with bulk cheap organic pads from Ali.  I've had no issues with them and they survived two weeks of CO and UT riding, including The Whole Enchilada (8,000 ft elevation loss over 30 miles).

I've used them on my gravel bike with hydro Rival too, and that bike has seen a lot more mud/grit than my mountain bike
