Agreed with the setapost insertion, though looking at the diagram, I don't think you can lower the saddle all the way down without scrubbing the saddle at full compression. The setup will suit me just fine though cos I don't like to lower it all the way.

I am 1m78, 83cm inseam, on a L size, I calculated that I can use a OneUp v2 150mm dropper post, shimed to 140mm. Even less than on the FM936.
That is disappointing indeed for an enduro bike, 180 would have been great for downhill.

I hope to receive my frame this week. I am also waiting for my rear shock, a Marzocchi Bomber CR Trunnion. Now  when I think about it im a bit nervous, will the spring-shock fit into the frame :-o

Images coming up........

Hi,

[new to this forum, BTW]

I also ordered one a few days ago, after discovering its existence from this post.
This will be a nice step up over my FM-XC181, that I'm running with far too much travel in the fork!

lightcarbon quoted me 30 days before shipping, but surprisingly they shipped it today, in less than a week!

Question for CasualRider: does it include the screws to connect the (top of) the trunnion shock?
I think these are frame-specific, su I'm assuming so..

Looks great. Is that 4 bikes you've built up in the last year?

Yes this will be my 4:th (and last....???) bike to build. Its so much fun and the bikes are great. But I don't think they are easy to sell so they are only great value and fun for myself.

The new LCFS947 is HUGE!!!!! And with 51mm offset on the Lyrik form its even longer. I have never ridden something like this, its going to be very interesting and exciting.

What size did you order?  Does the geometry look close to stated?

Any pics of tire clearance?  Hoping to run a full size 29x2.6.

Initial impressions?  Any problems with the build or anything off spec?

Would love to order one but looks like they are out until end of April.

I was quoted $720 plus $253 (ouch) to ship to US.

Looks like a beast :), what chainstay protector is that?

To you guys who have received your frames, is the dropper insertion correct to the specs or is there a little more wiggle room then specced?

The tire clearance is ok. Here is a image with 2.6" Continental Trail King on 30 mm rim.

The chainstay protector is from Nukeproof, that I modified to fit.

Just placed my order with Wendy today. Same price as listed earlier, 720usd, and another 100usd for shipping. I also grabbed one of their AM05 handlbars and a spare derailleur hanger.

I was also a bit concerned about the dropper insertion length but after doing some measurements it should be fine for me using a OneUpv2.

Have any of you who've built your frames run into an issue with these pivot bolts? The nut end of them is only held in place by the carbon at the corner of the rear triangle and it looks like it'll crack when I go to loosen them. All the other pivot bolts I've removed so far have been really tight also with tons of blue loctite on them.
If I wasn't planning to paint the frame I would just leave them as they're clearly pretty bomber and don't seem like they'd ever come loose.
