I have a friend interested in this build. Hows it going?  I know one mtbr forum "down country" LCFS 958 looking frame cracked so I'd be interested to hear how yours is standing up ?

I just ordered a LCFS958.  I have a question for those of you that have have built one already. Has anyone run a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock or any piggyback reservoir shock? If not, for those with the frame, would a shock with a piggyback fit?
Thank you in advanced!

Doubtful, except maybe for one or two unusually shaped shocks (possibly DVO’s forthcoming Topaz 3 with sideways piggyback but I’d be a bit surprised if even that fit). The down tube curve is too close to the shock.

Well, I found a thread on MTBR that indicates it's possible to run the RS Super Deluxe Ultimate RTC on the FS958 but the switch may not be accessible.

I'm the poster on that mtbr thread. I didn't have any issues with the fitting of the super deluxe and I didn't have to modify it in any way. And I eventually got the right dropper to be able to fit a 180mm without the kink in the frame getting in the way.

Thank you Rubybear!  Great news about the dropper.

Are you able to flip the RCT switch on the Super Deluxe when installed?

thanks again.

Can you post your parts list? Many customers asked me which parts they can use. I want to look for a few cases.

Not sure if I have shown my new LCFS958. Sold the old one, size L and built a new in size XL. (im 183 cm) The goal was to get even more reach. I loved my old bike and the new one is also great.

I didn't build this bike in particular.
But I have seen various cheap headsets coming with frames.
Each time the issue was me, not the headset.

Hey Guys i spoke to Wendy at LC and she sent me specs with headset...i should've taken the FSA headset with my frame as it costs about $10.

However i got it on ebay. took my first ride with new FSA Headset......totally different ride....absolutely zero movement
