Sorry to hear that, in my case it works perfect.

Fair Warning.  Ive had my share of liars and cheats in my dealings domestically and overseas.  But I have never experienced a more deceitful dealing than with Eddy and haidelibicycle.  I placed an order for an 831 frame early December.  But after reading all the negative reviews I quickly switched to the 830 frame.  I was assured the size I needed was in stock and the frame will be painted shortly.  After nearly 7 weeks of stalling (frame is being painted .....) I threatened to dispute the payment with paypal unless I received a shipment tracking for my address.  All of a sudden, someone made a mistake and only a black frame was available in my size.  I repeatedly asked to cancel the order and be refunded.  "Oh since you waited, we will send you a gift..." bull$it.   Finally, said in no uncertain terms, I was done with haidelibicycle and no longer want anything to do with them.  Eddy said refund was on the way.  Guess what no such refund or any acknowledgment.  I did file a dispute with paypal and provided the 10 pages of correspondence with Eddy (or whatever is his real name).  I dont know what will become of my payment.  Disregard this warning at you own expense.

You'll either get a frame or your money but neither one will come quickly from China.  Good luck and don't expect a different experience from any other reseller.

That's incredible.  I'm pushing 60 and have been ordering from china for nearly 20 years.  Giving questionable characters a pass is how we got to this place.  Never had a fraud experience with any Frame dealer.  Yes some were late and not exactly as advertised.  Eddy and his company define a new low and apparently its OK because eventually they will ship a crappy product and maybe you will get your money back.

You will get either/or in time, no fraud here - as evidence that a bunch of us have frames, or refunds, from them.  They didn't have one for you and that is trash, shit does happen.  I waited a few months for Seraph to tell me they didn't have the frame I ordered.  Ordered a different frame from someone else (AWST I think, don't know if they are still around) and got a refund from Seraph at some point, it was fine no tears shed.  A handful of people here simply have much different expectations when dealing with China than the rest of us.  I've had more of these shenanigans from car dealers in the US than from frames and bikes parts from China...

To fix the Damper the shockends are 8*22mm, rear & 8*22mm front!! Not 30 & 22 like the sellers told in description.

Not the first time they've provided incorrect specs like this. they said the same for the am831 and it was backwards. Not sure why they do this, it's not hard to measure

I guess you can't be let down if you expect the worse but I've definitely had much better experiences with other resellers as I'm sure a majority have on this site. This is just another example of Eddys deceitful tactics .

I completely agree with you. It's definitely not ok and they should be held accountable.  At the very least this is getting the word out so others don't go through the same . Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, I hope you are able to get this resolved through PayPal. I wouldnt wait for Eddy to do anything about it. He's stopped responding to me altogether when I have a valid warranty claim.

What are you talking about? This forum and plenty of others are filled with positive experiences from many different resellers.

I was about to make the same point.  The idea of a platform like CHINERTOWN is to help people weed out bad actors and let people make own decisions.  I personally had incredible luck with frame suppliers quality and finish (shipping delays not withstanding).  So lumping this outlier as what we should all expect is naive.

Yeah, good and bad experiences from different people about the same resellers.  It'll happen at every reseller - they're all slow, they all can mess up but that doesn't equal fraud.

I didn't post all over that Seraph was a fraud and bad actors for not sending me a frame and refunding me 63 days later (I was curious, so I checked)?  No, I actually just finished building up a Seraph GR044 frame - because shit happens.  Again, just a difference in expectations where some people just want way more out of throwaway money to a market where customer service isn't part of the experience.

I personally had incredible luck

Yes, yes you have.  I do hope that you get refunded quickly without having to go back to PayPal.  I've had mostly good luck but some bad thrown in like the constant tinkering with the AM831.  Sales process was smooth, end product is passable but could be better as I'm sure you are aware.  Hope this snap in your luck stops here...  Otherwise keep your post handy so you can replace the reseller name with your next new account.

Cybrsrce I think this is part of the problem, to you it is throw away money.  To many others here it is money that they have still had to work hard and save for.  Just because it is cheaper than over priced named branded products doesn't mean it isn't someone's hard earned that has been handed over.

I see your point and a delayed refund period isn't ideal if you don't have a frame worth of disposable income available.  The money isn't gone though, it just isn't going to be refunded immediately.  You're looking at 30 days to refund Amazon purchases outside your country, adjust expectations.

Other than that I see this process as a simple goods transaction and it looks like people want a white glove LBS service.  If you think that way you will definitely be disappointed.  If it isn't during the sales and shipping process it will be at post sales or warranty issues.  Just like the other threads, I respect your opinion I just disagree and that is probably all I have left to say about it.

Back to the FS830.

Hy, this is my keyword:

I mount the Fork. If you see in the attached picture, there is no collision with the Frame.

Why do people feel the need to convolute the extremes as if that makes their point much more viable.  Since when was lying cheating and stealing a close neighbor of white glove LBS service.  You expect the worst and such are never disappointed.  What a way to live and to transact.  The rest of us expect more and will only do business with those that share our values.

Enjoy your FS830 frame.  I hope you don't have the same 831 frame experience as someone on this board breaking their color bone due to poof pivot design.

When your refund is processed are you going to come back here and tell us how the lying, cheating, and stealing reseller gave you back your money?  No, I didn't think so.  You're expecting a "Yes sir, right away sir!" from China, I think my expectations are reality.  "Share your values" and the Chinese 996 workforce are going to be oil and water unless you condone slave labor.

You ordered one frame, changed to another, and maybe the old frame went to paint and when it was ready they looked at it and said sheeeeeeit...  They'll make you one and give you a sweet bottom bracket and a bell as a free gift, it'll just take a few more months and you don't want to wait.  I get it, take your money elsewhere you don't have to be such a boomer about it.

Nope worse, I have an 831 and the linkage issue has been exaggerated.  If the beefier rear triangle doesn't work for me I'm looking for something else, probably the FM1002 or even the FM1001.  I'm just here out of curiosity to see if the 830 rear triangle has the same roll effect for gorilla shaped humans like me.

I will be the first to report that here.  But I doubt it will be done unless compelled by paypal.  Its been days since last message with "you are refunded".  then crickets.

I have no I idea what this has to do with topic at hand.  I do business with 100+ countries.  I have employees in 15 countries.  I simply expect honest and direct communications.  Has nothing to do with where you live.

Again your mileage may vary.  You seem OK with paying for crappy product and fine with misleading information.  Most of us who work hard for their money have a different reaction.  Live your life and stop telling others how they should react.
