My p505 base combo has been great and honestly a onesided crank pm isnt even a comparisom

Same. The Magene PM with cranks for $300 is a steal. PM is dead on with my other power meters. And the cranks were a straight swap with Shimano and took less than 10 minutes for the install. Couldn't have been easier. I'm considering another set for the crit bike actually.

I picked up a spider with the rx4 cranks for 260 during the 11.11 sale. Pulled off the slider and put it on my racework carbon cranks. Couldn't be happier. Sold the cranks for another 40 bucks also.

Looks like there's now a Chinese version of Shimano premium grease. For 2 tubes, it's cheaper than 1 Shimano tube. Locally I paid $20 USD for the Shimano stuff. Reviews seem positive, might be worth checking out:

The Rockbros knockoff of Oneup composites are a great first (or only) flat pedal.

I have a set of these from 2021 with 8000km on them. Great pedals.

I also have another set of Rockbros composites that are similar to the Raceface Chester with about 5000km. Also great pedals.

I have a pair of real OneUps and personally I can't stand how convex they are.

I would rather have something flat or concave like MZYHR 327 or some Shanmashi alloy pedals.

Also Marin composite pedals are $20 at Bikesonline right now, I like those better too.

Just ordered a set of Zoom HB-910 brakes in silver, along with Cooma Gold metallic pads and Avid rotors.

Shoutout to this forum for all the excellent threads highlighting the quality products in a sea of mediocrity.

Has anyone come across a set of ultralight SPD pedals offered on Aliexpress??   Perhaps with a TI axles?

I'm looking for the same. Wellgo seems to be the lightest budget option, but those I can buy locally in Germany for cheaper.

I have two pairs of inexpensive SPD pedals that are fairly light. Both have chromoly spindles so there are likely lighter options out there.

I have the VENZO pedals on my road bike. I weighed them at 294 g (excluding cleats) and they've been pretty good so far. No issues clipping or unclipping and the bearings are holding up after a year of use. I got them on Amazon and couldn't find the AliExpress equivalent with a brief search.

(82x55mm option)

On my gravel bike, I have ZERAY ZP-108S pedals. These are 283 g and they've been just OK. One of the screws fell out and one pedal is a little harder to clip in and out of. The bearings have also needed some adjustments. To be fair, they've taken a few hard rock strikes. I also got these from Amazon but there are a few sellers on AliExpress as well.

I like and use Wellgo / Xpedo:

Of course the full Ti version of Xpedo are not a budget option...   ;)

On the cheaper side with aluminum I use and like these:

They used to sell cheap Xpedo lightweight SPD pedals that weighed 245g a pair, but they stopped selling them on AliEx. It's the same pedals Trace Velo reviewed badly (he fell due to a difficult clip out), but they work fine as long as you loosen the spring tension.

Any thoughts on these titanium DT style freehub bodies? I was thinking the HG version would resist bite marks better, though I'm not sure it's worth the premium. Also I'm not sure how beneficial having ceramic bearings would be.

I have been using EC90 saddle with steel rail and it has been fine. I am also trying out their carbon rail one and it is a little bit more harsh and the rail was 7x10mm instead of 7x9mm which made install didn't work for one of my bikes.
