Wow. They've been hitting us hard the past two days.

Just wanted to let you guys know we are actively trying to delete and ban the spammers while simultaneously looking for ways to slow them down. It got like this once before and we implemented some anti-spam measures that I thought had the problem under control.. guess not. But like I said.. we're working on it.

It kinda feels like having a roach infestation in your house, if that analogy makes sense to anyone lol

I was a mod on a forum long ago and I remember how crazy the spam got sometimes. Extremely annoying! And quite a bit of work to keep up with.

Yep, unfortunately, spam is just part of forums. I've seen a few pop up here recently, but they seem to get deleted pretty quickly. I've been a member of forums that just left them there, and it's annoying, so I'm glad you guys are on top of it!

That's a benefit of a global moderator in the Netherlands and an administrator and GM in the US.  Different time zones. Different working hours
