Speeder wheels

Hi!

I'm planning on buying the Speeder SC-R52D for a new build (https://www.speedercycling.com/Carbon-Road-Disc-Frameset-SC-R52D-_p412.html). Eventually I'm going to want to buy a pair of carbon wheels for the bike (only have rim-brake bikes atm) so thought I'd ask Speeder about their wheels and save on shipping. I'm looking for all-round wheels, around 40-45mm deep. Don't need carbon spokes, I'd rather they be a bit more serviceable. Got the following quote from speeder:
Quote
SC-28WHD45TL-SLP: US$870/set
SC-28WHD45TL: US$850/set

Built with EXP DT240 hubs and Sapim CX-Ray spokes.
Links to the wheels: https://www.speedercycling.com/28mm-Wide-45mm-Super-Light-Pattern-Carbon-Road-Disc-Tubeless-Clincher-Wheelset-SC-28WHD45TL-SLP-_p384.html and https://www.speedercycling.com/28mm-Wide-45mm-Filament-Wound-Carbon-Road-Disc-Tubeless-Clincher-Wheelset-SC-28WHD45TL-_p328.html

Does anyone have experiences with Speeder wheels? And are these good prices? Should I be looking at some other brand? E.g.

Any comments appreciated!

Fwiw, also asked about https://www.speedercycling.com/21mm-Internal-Wide-Carbon-Road-Disc-Asym-Hooked-Wheelset_p391.html

45mm rims + DT350 hubs + Sapim CX-Ray spokes: US$690/set
45mm rims + DT240 hubs + Sapim CX-Ray spokes: US$820/set

I have the filament one's in 45mm with Chosen hubs/Sapim CX-Ray they came in at 1460G with tape just like their estimates.

So far they are solid wheels and I prefer them over the Elite Low resistance set that I had previously.

you can also try some wheelset from yishunbikes. I've ordered from this one from them https://wheelset.yishunbike.com/wheels/w206db-rsl50c-carbon-road-disc-brake-aero-wheels

@Yunglord - how much did you pay for the wheels? How are the chosen hubs vs. DT Swiss, mostly picked DT Swiss because they seem fairly standard.

@Dark17 how much did you pay for the Yishun wheels?

Shopping around takes more time when you have to contact the sellers for quotes, but I guess that's part of the fun :)

I've got two pairs of speeder wheels. One on a 29er and a 650b set.

They're great wheels, built up nicely. The rims are quality. You can't go wrong. I ordered some hubs from an AliExpress seller and got them sent directly to speeder, which saved a fair bit of money.

Thanks to this thread I saw speeder for the first time. They have really nice products, not only the wheels. I really like the handlebars they offer and the seapost is genius as they have this little knob to adjust the saddle angle which is great for saddles without cutout. nice

The reason why I purchased the wheels from them is that I got the RC48D frame new but second hand from a forum member and they weren't willing to sell/ship me spare derailleur hangers and headset.

However I am happy with the wheels and have zero regret on my purchase I'll add a pic to this thread later.
