Hey guys, I’m planning to buy my first spd sl shoes for my road bike. Is it worth to buy from AliExpress? Can you recommend some?

Without knowing who you are as a rider, it's difficult. But on AliX, if you see something for 40 dollars, assume there's about 10 in shipping, and the 30 you're paying, you'd be paying 20 on alibaba. So there's probably 15 bucks, if not less, in "product".
If you dont totally suck, i'd consider stiff soles, ideally carbon, because it does feel much better (i bought winter alix shoes for 40 and they are noodles. for winter, i dont care too much, but i wouldnt use these for my "most of the year" riding.
Both my carbon soled pairs, i bought second hand, because i'm the kind of guy who buys second hand shoes from strangers on the internet. Both high end full carbon Gaerne shoes, they're awesome. Retail is 300+ on them. I paid 50-70 from memory.
Sometimes, ghetto is a badge of honour :D
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

I don't have any experience with shoes from ALI but I have tried 2 different sets of cleats and both broke in one season. Real Shimano easily last 1 - 2 years for me. Others here as well as Trace Velo have tested and can recommend shoes. FWIW my favs for road shoes are Bont and Shimano for my wide-ish feet but I also really love my Giro gravel shoes with laces.

If these are your first real road shoes don't go expensive because you might not like how it feels to walk in them.  You can get MTB SPD pedals with larger platforms and will get comparable performance with walkability.

im not sure how much you wanna skimp on shoes.

but my reason going aliEx is because Santic actually makes lockless cycling shoe for flat pedal that looks like road cycling shoe, and stiff outsole+ no arch flex n still comfortable to walk in.
i tried some other random brand lockless shoe, not close to Santic at all in term of stiffness.

maybe check out Santic shoes for spd, maybe theres some tickle your fancy n budget

Santic is in fact really nice.
But: it's not super low in price (reasonable i would say)
Looking around in sales deals it is possible to get a similar price for a shoe, that you can easily send back if it doesn't fit.

I had some good fitting references at home, so I could give it a try by comparing the inner sole and the outer appearance of the toe box. But it's definitely a risk if you couldn't already try them.

(I just bought Northwave very recently...)
