Author Topic: Looking for Titanium Gravel/All-Road Frame with Specific Features  (Read 267 times)

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a titanium frame for a gravel or all-road bike and was wondering if anyone knows of a model that ticks the following boxes:

Clearance for 40mm tires
UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger)
Fully integrated cables (ideally through the headset)
Invisible welds around the headtube
Aero seatpost would be a plus, but not a must
Does something like this exist, or am I asking for too much in one frame?
Any suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about frame available off the shelf but Waltly Titanium maybe contact and ask them they also do bespoke and as Chinese obviously not ask expensive as western brand and I believe they OEM as

They do custom and there frames are also sold on Aliexpress around £1500gbp ish.
Sonder’s titanium bikes, including the Signal Ti, have been identified as being manufactured by Waltly.  Additionally, Planet X’s On-One Pickenflick and Titus Goldrush models are also believed to be produced by Waltly.

Asking Waltly is a good idea, but I don't think they will polish your welds.

XACD probably will, and they can also make an aero seat post, but it would be very difficult to source a replacement down the line if you need it.

The rest of it, from tire clearance to UDH to integration, should be pretty easy for any of the major factories accepting a one-off custom frame order to accommodate. You might be able to buy some off-the-shelf options, but they won't be much cheaper, if at all.

Look into Laget Bikes. Their gravel frame looks like it might fit your criteria, minus the aero seat post. These guys have been doing some pretty cool stuff like 3D printed titanium frames. They've showcased their bikes at Sea Otter and are currently at the Shanghai Bike Show. They're not cheap, but their design processes are quite cutting edge. :)

Ask Waltly. They make custom frames, can very likely tick all of your boxes - not sure about the invisible welds thing, though.
They have a frame made from 3D printed parts, but not sure about the tire clearance on this one.
Anyway, definitely worth asking them!
