LCR020-D all sizes will be available about the end of 2026.
The pre-order is available if you can wait for that long.

The same fee for custom paint was mentioned on the LCR018 thread. It makes the frame much more expensive but I'm not sure I'd want to go back to a boring black frame after having a couple of custom ones. It's much cheaper than having it custom painted professionally in the UK though. I'd definitely be looking at a complex paint job though to justify the price.

Get it black matt or gloss, and get whatever decals you want cut locally or online. The moment you change your mind, change decals. The moment you sell it, remove them. You can do colour decals too.

Save time, weight, money, and a risk that you order X after a lengthy design process, and receive Y instead.

It looks interesting, though perhaps a bit unrealistic in my opinion.

If I ever decide to buy this frame, I’d want a paint that’s both aggressive and elegant...any suggestions?

For now, I’m thinking of something like this (see photo), maybe with a "barely visible" Lightcarbon logo on the down tube (like on the BMC).

one thing I think should be considered is the fact that a paintless finish is light, elegant and most importantly is not easily aesthetically damaged; meaning that small scratches are generally less visible than normal paint, there is no risk of paint chipping off and it is also much easier to restore with some clear coat.

by default, I would go for paintless glossy finish and I would rely on other components to create some contrast, for instance silver hubs and spokes (I think UAE uses this color scheme in some races), silver decals on the downtube, etc.

in case of custom color, maybe something like this...with the front of the bike painted with some color that creates a significant contrast with respect to the rear end, that will be again paintless glossy. but I would make the color transition much closer to the front of the bike, basically painting only the fork, head tube and 1/3 of top tube and down tube.

You make a fair point; a glossy clear-coat finish could be a sleek, aggressive (and lightweight) alternative, enhanced by silver or mirrored details and logos.

Alternatively, on a frame like the LCR020-D, I think an "Arctic Silver" finish with black or dark logos (like the BMC R01 in the photo) would also look really good.

Same here, but honestly, grams per dollar make you have enough wiggleroom to get a sub1200g wheelset. Which “counters” the weight penalty, if I can make anything sub 8kg I am more than happy as a 187cm person on 60cm frames

Ideally it would be good if they went a bit more progressive with this instead of cookie-cutter. Maybe drop the BB to 76-80mm and slam the seat tube angle forward a couple of degrees.

They take pre-orders, and there's a queue.
They're past the point of changing the geometry, afaik, that boat has sailed and the chinertown community isn't part of that decision process.

I need some advice for my next frame 

If money was not a factor in choosing the best frame among the LCR020, the QuickPro ER:One and the XMCS VRT, would you still consider the LCR020 ? Yes, it is cheaper so there will be more money left for wheels and groupset, but...

1) 105 Di2 is enough, I do not need Ultegra or Dura-Ace (especially since I want 36T in the back, so that means 105 is mandatory)
2) I do not want super-light wheels with carbon spokes since I am relatively heavy (80 kg) and roads are terrible in my area (northern Italy)
