It arrived few days ago:

I'm hesitating between installing it on my current MTB to try it, or keep it new until my FM936 arrives  :o

In a few GPlama reviews he talks about "bedding in" the new power meters. So maybe it would be good to do a few hard rides on it before putting it into your new bike!

Maiden voyage today for the Sigeyi, about 60km in mudland !

It paired instantly with my Wahoo Bolt.
Gave power, cadence and even an estimate of L/R balance data. All this, during the whole ride.
Just maybe a bit generous on my max power today  8)
The magnetic charging port is very smart compared to my other PMs.

Pardon me the inelegant blue/gold match, the chainring was planned for my next blue bike  ;)
It is my first Deckas chainring, and it looks great, at a great price.
No noise at all with the chain today.
Hopefully they made it from a good alloy and it will last long.

I bought it here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000579112764.html
And it took 3 weeks to arrive in Belgium.

Damn! The price inflated from 269 to $311 !

Great to hear @carbonazza. Do you have any other power readings to compare it with on the same ride? Please keep the post updated on the longevity of the PM.

A friend has Favero pedals and tried them with an Xcadey.
The measures were consistent. You can find some on the web too.
That doesn't tell my unit is right obviously. But I remember when deciding between the two, Sigeyi was more precise, and Xcadey had a better app/software.

Thanks @carbonazza ! I've ordered one from their website yesterday and shipped today! I prefer to use their website since you can pay with paypal which has slightly better buyer protection IMO. Paid 5$ for ePacket shipping.

In my opinion, PayPal protection is a joke, at least in Europe.
Now when I buy frames or wheels, I use the option to send money to friend or family instead of a product.
It saves about 5%, obviously with sellers I know already.

One thing sure, is to avoid the exchange rate offered by PayPal, and use your credit card instead.

Mine arrived within 9 days directly from Sigeyi's website. very well finished and the firmware update worked well on iPhone - I had problems doing it on my old android phone (they do say that iPhone is advised plus my android is an old version of android.). First ride all went well, reasonable numbers, no spikes, not dropouts. That's all I can say for now. :)
