Received some Spexcel cargo bibs a few days ago.
https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804601228289.html

Overall they seem well made and they are comfortable.

But there are 2 problems;

1) Product came with a strange line in the fabric, like its missing a run of thread on on leg. Poor QC.  I've got a couple messages in to them to see if I can exchange or get another pair or somehow resolve this issue.

2) (Not a quality concern) even at XS size, it’s a bit more loose than I'd like.  This is a running theme with AliEx stuff for me. If anyone has a line on *really* small sizing stuff i'd appreciate the lead.  Darevie, YKYW, and Spexcel, i'll order the smallest jersey or bibs they list and they are nearly always just a bit too loose in some way or another.

Edit WOW,  their response is something else. Added their response to the attached photos below.

I've also bought 2 jackets from Spexcel

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004917654097.html
SPEXCEL 22 insulated Jacket Explore 3 Season Windproof And Thermal Fleece Inside Cycling Jacket 2 layer With Chest Pocket
This one is pretty good to be honest. The thermal fleece is just at the front, which is sufficient. Sizing is pretty good so, typically asian sizes, I went 1 size up to my European one. Kept me dry on some spray rain for 15-20 minutes.
Biggest disadvantage: the back pockets are why to high, made them practically unreachable. I can barely grab into the one across the back, the middle one - no chance.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008141082057.html
SPEXCEL SPC LAB New PRO Winter Thermal Fleece Cycling Jerseys Long sleeve Race Fit Nylon thermal fabric Warm and breathable man
Got this one yesterday for a first ride out. I used it as a 2nd layer with some gore infinimum above. I was wet from sweat all over.
Sizing is the same as above, one size up was good. Same here, the cut is more straight, not with a long back. But, pockets got to stuff and reach.

I used my Inbike thermal bibs and YKYWbike thermal jersey a few more times, including one long ride. I'm fairly pleased with both, so I bought an additional one of each. The thermal jersey from YKYWbike is especially nice for the price, imo, even if I'm not crazy about their single color options. It's good for about 40deg F (5) deg C or so on its own, and I've ridden down to 32deg F (0deg C) with just a windbreaking layer above it. I'm sure it would work even below that with a windbreaking layer and maybe a thermal layer above it.

Here and there I have tried some socks on Ali, looking for a good cycling sock.  Most are pure nylon - stifling, uncomfortable pieces of meh.  I found these to be pretty poor:

Then I hit the jackpot.  These are really good - about 1/3 cotton, poly, and nylon (and a bit of spandex).  Not super cheap, but 1/4 of the price of the norm.

As a bonus these are pretty decent wool socks:

Interesting. Merino wool socks? Why are some of them $0.99 and some approx. $8? I don't trust the $.99 price, lol.

What INBIKE men's jersey is the most 'aero'?

Also, sizing suggestions, I'm 178cm and 79kg (reasonably wide shoulders).  Thanks!

I had a similar experience with spexcel. They said I should not buy if I want to send items back.
I would just ignore there messages and handle it via aliexpress. Not worth the hassle to message them. The quality of the products is good so I still will order from them

Spexcell's communication is a nightmare indeed. I asked them to measure the length of a certain jersey in a specific size and they replied they couldn't do it. Likely person for the customer service is not located near their warehouse.
For issues with quality I would also use the support from aliexpress rather then trying to solve it with them directly.

they can't sell full merino socks shipped to your door for 1$. If it's a blend, then sure, synthetic fabrics cost virtually nothing (which is also & fundamentally why the very concept of expensive cycling clothing is quite literally a scam).
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

I have a couple pairs of these and a couple pairs of YKYW socks.   Both are pretty great.

Interesting. I don't see any for a buck.  I paid $14 for 3.

Now are they Merino?  Yeah, no idea.  They're pretty warm and thick.  I don't remember that they have a label with what's in them.

You were sent something that wouldnt have passed QC if they had any, it's a textbook example of quality fade, and this is an unacceptable (and retarded) answer from the seller. Get AliX to step in for a refund, out of principle.
I would lean in, just to play the game, into the unprofessional response of the seller forcing you to take a mental health day from work because it created distress to to emotional balance, something like that. Basically, sound like a snow flake that got really shaken by the experience. It's low level trolling, and should help AliX side w you, because you don't want to disagree with snowflakes as everything snow balls into epic proportions.
If i can remember, i'll add this seller to my black list, plenty of competition so you dont have to give money to crooks and dumbasses.

There is no way to really blacklist sellers, am I right? Would be nice though :)

I got AliExpress involved, they approved a return for refund.  Then I couldn't find the original shipping bag with barcode on it.    So I just dropped it after that.  oh well.  I'll find someone who wants it for trainer duty or someday I'll gain 20lbs and it'll fit fine.
