Price & availability check...
« on: January 17, 2021, 10:23:01 PM »
I'm kind'a out of touch with the Chinese cf products for a while now. And just want to know the current pricing of a road bike frame set. Doesn't have to be exact prices, just a ballpark figures.

I might as well check out the stock availability. Are most Chiner frame sellers have stocks or there's a waiting time due to COVID?

For our build we ordered a GR029 frame from Seraph/TanTan and they seemed to be on stock.
We had to wait an additional 20 days until shipment due to a custom paint job.
This frame is quite old so it seemed they had stock seems some newer designs are back ordered.

Pricing in October 2020:
GR029 Frame, Headset and Through axles: 387 US$
Custom 2 Tone paint job 80 US$
Shipping to Europe: 120 US$

I hope this helps.

The price range can be as low as $300-400.

Here is a random selection:

Velobuild $379 to $529
Trifox - special on the X16 at $689, The X8 is $599
Rinascltabike $679-$1300
Ican $535 for the A18  - $900 for the fully integrated A9
Winspace $1180 to $1480

Shipping costs vary between those who have warehouses in different parts of the world. Round $80-$120 from China.

The basic matt black is often quicker to deliver and paint jobs can be up to a month depending on the seller.

My TanTan X21 was in  stock and shipped EMS back in mid December. No complaints about tracking or shipping speed. The frame with shipping and all the odd bits I ordered just to feel better about compatibility was under $700 USD.
