Built mine.
The paint quality was ok, especially the fork was not too good.
One nose close to the racecrown and had to machine some clear coat off the dropouts to fit the hub in. Fork also was repainted as I had some different color below.
The mounting points of the brakes also must be cleared from excessive paint.

But ride quality is good! More comfortable than my previous venge

Here’s mine.

Was able to put 100k on it before the weather got cold again. (this was seconds before I noticed my saddle slipped backwards lol).

Brakes took a shake down ride to bed in and then re-adjust to stop rubbing but the facing seems fine.

55mm elite wheels ent
sram force + rival crank
pirrelli pzero race 26mm tubeless
velobuild integrated bar/stem

Matte metallic blue.

I sent them a pic of someone else’s in the same colour.

Yesterday I picked up the frame.
I think, the frame was packed well, and the box has no damage.

First impresión are good, no cracks or dents on the paint, the matte pearl white looks fantastic, paint job is decent for the prices IMO.
Carbón inside the frame appers smooth with no delamination.
I'd other chinise frames some years ago (flyxxi), and this has better finish.

Wheights:

Frame size 54 1067g
Fork 413g
Seatpost 224g
Handlebar 400/90mm 384g

Handlebar it´s a bit heavy, but looks sooooo solid.
Chris told me it has -17ºC, but (fortuntanely) I think its about -6º or similar.

Now I´m collecting parts, and waiting for the wheels.

Question; The VB product page mentions both 140 and 160mm rotor compatibility. I just ordered 2x160mm rotors for my Shimano 105 7020 groupset, will i need to also get two 160mm flat mount adapters or what does "compatibility" mean in this instance - just the fork/seat stay clearance?

Thanks in advance

You still need 160mm adapters. The compatibility means that the frame and fork are both strengthened enough to handle force generated by 160mm rotors while braking.

Lol tell me. I bought so many (redundant) parts either from Amazon or LBS, some even local hardware store and of course Ali-ex. But it didn't end at that. My build is long done and I still buy parts...

It was even meant as a budget 2nd bike I can ride at the edge of the proper seasons, where I don't have the nerve to use my primary bike. Yet this still is gonna end up costing around 3.000€ or so..

Hello.

I order my frame on October 2022. After that I order the other components, some new some second hand (groupset). Order from Velobuild was easy and fast. I didn't have any questions because I get all informations from topic here or YT.

This was my first build, I do all by myself.  8)

Frame size is 56, handlebar is integrated also from Velobuild. Wheelset is Elite Ent-disc 60, groupset is one of the best mechanical Shimano Ultegra R8020, with R7100 crankset. In front 50/34 and at back 11/30 (of course 11 speed). At my old bicycle (Giant Propel Advanced 2 2017) I run 52/36 and 11/28, but for this I want a bit easier gears.  :)

Here are pictures (without bar tape, now I wrap Supacaz black with white stars). Sorry for bad english.  :-[

Did you really put S-Works decals on your frame?
