why not just remove the side ridges so u can fit a zip tie thru the holes then zip tie it to the seat tube . then maybe extend it alittle longer if its too high up

I thought about that but I don't like the zip tie look just out of pure vanity :)  I guess I could make it a little taller and do a velcro strap.

Im a true function over form kinda guy. Can consider using magnets just stick one on ur frame with some 3m tape and 1 on the guard should be strong enough

That is a great idea, I'll give that a try.

Well,

Fortunately/Unfortunately I will not be building the frame. I have accepted a job in the bike industry with bike rebate so I'm selling my frames and the components I bought with it.

I made a post in the classfied to not spam here. It's a small if you're interessed

I've had access to staff purchase programs for many years now from a handful of brands, Chiners are still a fun side hobby for me though. I'd recommend making sure you have the next bike secure before you get rid of your frame!

I was also thinking about the "problem" of the rear mechanism fender...any ideas are welcome (3d printing?) or maybe just a wrap of rubber or similar.

Here is a "wrap of rubber" solution:

Good ideas from mud guard brainstorming: to me the inner tube wrap ghetto style is the cheapest and the most effective; also good the idea to use a velcro to put something in place. Unless (but i doubt) they do something specific for this frame.
I am spending one week by the sea on holiday, I will resume my bike assembly next week  8)

I have the highest trust in Light Carbon  (I have built 5 LC bikes) and the LC frame gives me a little more confidence. But I look forward to build the AM831. I can tell you more after I have built the bike.

cybrsrce - good looking frame.  Is it the light or is it a darker gray?  I expected a dark grey and ended up receiving a light gray.

I picked pantone 11c and it is a little lighter than I expected but I'm happy with it.
