Parts suggestions? Thinking of assembling a Velobuild

Hello everyone,

I’m currently planning on what parts I should get for a road/tri bike I’m going to build. I chose the Velobuild VB-R-079 disc version (http://www.velobuild.com/products/velobuild-2019-one-piece-mould-monocoque-frame-disc-version) with the 88mm disc wheels offered on the site as well (http://www.velobuild.com/products/vb-88mm-deep-carbon-road-and-cyclocross-wheel-set-disc-brake-23-25mm-width-p0060).

Reason being of choosing the frameset is that it’s aggressive enough to be used as a tri bike. I’ll just put on basebars & skis onto the stem and it’s all good. Switch it out to dropbars and I can join bunch rides.

For the wheels, where I live there are no hills so going with deeper and heavier carbon wheels is no problem. Aero over weight.

For the groupset, I’m thinking of getting is the carbon Sensah Empire Pro v3. Although I’m still not sure on what crankset I should get. I read that there are some cranks that have compatibility issues with Sensah. I still don’t know on what rotor I should get.

My knowledge on roadbike parts and assembly is fairly new and I reckon posting here would help me with my project. Suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Since it seems you are looking to keep this somewhat budget, have you considered the P325CS Dual power meter crankset?  Can’t imagine you wouldn’t want a power meter for a TT bike, and this one kills two birds with one stone for just over $400 USD
