Am I correct in reading axle to crown measurement is 597 to 616mm depending on frame size?

No, what the have called "shock" on the green table is actually "Stack" height. If you look at the geo chart and the table below it, you'll see the stack heights correlate with the "shock" size in the green table.

I tried to see what size fork it is for but can't work it out on any of the docs and I don't think Eddie has said yet what travel fork it is designed around.

The drawing shows two seat tube angles. The one to the bottom bracket is the effective seat tube angle. The one over the seat post is usually called the seat tube angle. The effective seat tube angle is generally steeper than the seat tube angle. It may be that the 75 degrees is the effective measure, but it is not clear.

It shows that it is to the effective saet tube angle (the line through the bb).  Click on the geo chart and it will enlarge showing what two lines the angle is measured between.

Yup, I totally missed the letter E next to that angle…

Is this exclusively for a 100mm fork, or a slacker 120mm could work without trouble ?

Out of curiosity, I drew up the geometry for the medium frame. (EDIT: geo is very close to the 2021 chisel, albeit 1 deg less slack)

I might consider this frame at some point next year for my entry into the mtb world. I was severely underbiked on my gravel bike on the trails in the Ardèche a few weeks ago :-)

The geo chart shows fork offset of 45.  Seems like most frames have gone to 51.  Your thoughts?

That is actually the other way around.  51mm has been the mainstay for a long time and many now are going 46,44, or even 42mm.
