Lexon 2022 No Name frame ID help
« on: April 02, 2022, 01:36:07 PM »
Hey all,

I like the look of this frame from lexon in terms of geometry and general shape, but I've got no idea if the frame is any good or what the actual factory is. Also not a fan of the paint. I've heard lexon is usually top carbon, but I don't see it on their site

Thanks!

Wow, I like the looks of this frame too. I would buy this if I was in the market for a new aero frameset. I'm ok with the black and white color. I like that the drive side of the chainstay is painted black. That way you minimize stains from the chain on the white paint. It is about 100g above my preferred aero frame weight but this can be complemented for with some light weight wheelset / components.
Looking to see owner reviews on this.

It looks a bit like the top carbon TCRF068, but they don't have the geometry available. Also it doesn't look quite right. I emailed them. Hopefully they'll respond!

Definitely not the 068. 068 is very long and low.

Yeah you're right. I got the pdf. The 68 is actually a bit tall though. Size 52 is 557:383

The lexon frame doesn't have a 52, but in 54 is 540:390. The search continues!

So I found where there marketing material comes from  ;)

Looks like they pasted their frame on top of these pics. There are some more where they pasted their brand name on other marketing material form the Dare bike. Bleh, not my favorite tactic. Makes me more interested to find the original designer/maker of the frame!

Looks like someone posted a review so the frame actually exists! I wish I could ask people on aliexpress questions so I could get a real frame weight. The listed weight is 1267 with hardware including axles, but I feel like adding 100g to that is realistic.

Additionally the seller says that they'll do one color custom paint. Not sure if that still includes the lexon logo. I actually like the second color they have available now though.
