Advice on aero frame for tall rider 6’4 / 193cm
« on: July 18, 2022, 05:18:56 PM »
Hi all,

I’m new to this forum but very happy to be part of it! As the title suggests I’m looking for advice on an aero road frame but I have issues finding a good frame that works for my length 6’4 / 193cm (inseam 93cm). The prerequisites and wishes are as follow:

-I have a full Shimano 105 r7020 group set, hydraulic disc brakes, 11 speed 50-34 11-32
-unpainted frame, budget max 600USD excl. shipping
-preferably internal routing
-28mm wheel clearance (aim to go for 28mm tubeless)

Really appreciate if you have any suggestions!

From personal experience, TT-X21 / vb099 size 56 or 58 with or without the zero offset seat post depending on your current bike size / setup.
This is assuming these dealers will take quality control seriously.

ICAN triaero A9 has a long user thread on this forum and the frame looks good and stable in the large size range.

Other notable mentions i.e. frames I don't mind to try but no user reviews yet on this forum:
- ICAN A22
- SEKA Exceed
- Tantan TT-X34
- Lexon  Mission aero frame (the white and black aero frame).

Happy hunting!

ICAN A40? it's the same frame as the Cinelli Pressure, Engine11 Mach1, Atom 6 Strada, Rollingstone Hider & Raceline Hider

A major con is that it appears to be a true ACR frame where the front fork hose is routed up and out of the steerer rather than at the headset. This means that you'll be very limited in cockpit choices.
