FSA ACR Spacer to normal stem adapter?
« on: March 13, 2023, 05:15:18 AM »
Surely someone must make one.

I'll be getting a gravel bike that comes with an ACR headset and SMR stem stock.   I'll be changing the stem to a Redshift one.   Whilst I could file the 2 locator pins off the ACR to SMR adapter that will be on the bike, it will leave a gaping hole at the front of the spacer stack.

Surely someone has made an ACR spacer to normal stem semi-integrated spacer?  I just can't find it.

You can buy a FSA headset NO.69 SRS.
So you can use any stem with round spacers.

Thanks, but I'm aware of it (and a bunch of others).  I'm specifically looking to integrate the cables directly into the spacer stack below the stem.  Neater re: cabling, and thin round spacers IMO look awful with 1.5" headtubes.

In terms of replacing the whole headset and spacer stack, Token C-Box would probably work well.  But it's still not available about 18 months after launch ...

Ritchey also has proper steering uppers

Thanks.  I'd never seen that mentioned before.  The only problem appears to be that the locator pins are not compatible with Ritchey's Switch spacers, and the ones with this different layout don't seem to be available.  Which is absolutely bizarre.  So you can't run it with spacers.

See here:  https://www.bike24.com/p2510553.html

Edit:  Other stockists show it with the same pin layout as the Logic-E.  Odd.  Anyway, ordered, so thanks a lot.

I recently discovered the search is contextual to the post you look at.
For instance if you are on a 29er page, it won't search the road posts.
Not perfect but way better to find things, like my post about Ritchey's headset above.
