RYET freehubs?
« on: April 15, 2023, 10:28:24 AM »
Hi all,
I have a set of carbon wheels on the way from China:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003750120132.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_groupList.8148356.9.493e4c49XJ1UZd&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21EUR%21%E2%82%AC%20510%2C82%21%E2%82%AC%20357%2C58%21%21%21%21%21%402103250d16815725585155417e0144%2112000027034959238%21sh

Does anyone know the extact type of freehub body for this hub? It hubs look exactly like the Goldix 240, but the description says its pawls system.
Thanks

This is the reason why I prefer the Novatech hubs... Spare parts are easy to find.

What are you referrring to? The unorthodox bearing sizes DTS uses? Hambini mentions RYET uses common bearing sizes which is a plus for them

I mean: what are you going to do when you need parts for the hub? Hope you find them on Aliexpress and you don't have to wait more than a month?

The only replaceable parts I can think of on a hub are bearings, the ratchet rings and the freehub body, all of which should be easy finds from third party, I don't think they are proprietary?

Ah, if the freehub body is a shared design that will make it a lot better.

Are you sure they are interchangeable ?
Did you try that already ?
