Here's the reference for LC's wheels: LightCarbon C67DB Disc Brake Road Wheels with Butterfly Weave Rims: BRD28-55C 55mm depth, 28mm width, Tubeless, Clincher, UD black matte.
They're 55mm deep, I had 5.5mm bladed spokes fitted... I like them, and the price/quality ratio compared to the larger wheels is good.
This is my fourth pair from them, and I'm still happy with them. They're not Leighweight or anything else, but they're perfect for my needs.

Thanks for the update on the wheels. They look great on your bike.

Hi, I'm assembling a Force 22 HydroR groupset, but I've hit a snag while installing the front derailleur. How far did you run the cable housing?
I noticed that I can't mount a cable stop at the cable hole under the downtube, so I'm thinking of running the housing all the way to the front derailleur. But it seems like the housing might be rubbing against the derailleur if I do that.
Do you have any advice?

Over the last days I built the bike up bit by bit.
The wheels arrived today so I did a quick dry fit. Overall I have to say the geometry seems to fit me quite well, at least in a static position. With the 90mm stem length, as opposed to 120mm I have on my current bike, it feels quite a bit more relaxed.
This feeling matches what I hoped to get, from comparing the geometry and the measurements with my current ride, which is nice.

I mentioned it before, but I love the way the paintjob came out - the glossy chalk white with the contrast of the matte chamaeleon paint is a dream.

Not sure if I will be able to do a maiden ride this year, but I was able to make fairly good progress in the build so far. Routing the four cables through the handlebars was quite the hassle, especially knowing i would have to do it at least once more after cutting the fork steerer tube to length ...

Rose XLITE 06 style. Love it! Very seksy

Hi there, pleasure to be in this forum! :-)

So, I figured I need a 5th bike and decided to build one myself. :-)

Regarding the LCR017-D frame size:

I am 178 cm tall with an 87 cm inseam.
Would you LightCarbon pros recommend a size 54 or 56?

I ride all my Canyon bikes in a 54 (S), since it suits my neck problems better. But I'm a bit unsure how the LCR017 fits in a size 54.

Any comments are appreciated—and thanks in advance!

Thanks for the photo. So the "Sram cable stop" is located just below the frame's cable plug, right?
Does the cable stop attach securely to the plug?
The plug I have doesn’t seem to hold the cable stop—it’s either too thick or too thin for the hole in the plug.
So I was wondering if I need to glue in a thinner one with something like epoxy to keep it in place.
(Attached photo is the cable plug. Because I'm not exactly sure if that's the right term for it)

I'm 178 cm tall too and I'm a 54 on the LCD17. I actually hesitated with the 52 but I didn't want a head tube that was too low. My Elves Vanyar has a 120mm head tube. I opted for a 100mm integrated handlebar at the stem (actually measures 110 mm with the angle). The seat setback is 0. The 56 seems disproportionate to me. Generally speaking, it's better to choose smaller and set it up with the stem, seatpost setback, saddle length (245 is not like 275 cm).

I used a Cable housing of 4mm and his cap inserted in the "Sram cable stop",  inserted the cable and tightened the small Allen screw .
