So if SpecTrekGiantDale were to use their two to three generation old molds with P for plenty T800 layups at a frame weight of 1000-1100 grams at a $1Kish frameset price with their usual warranty, would legacy manufacturers lose more sales or the AliExpress resellers?

Man, these companies have truly lost the plot. Just quoted $4000 for this frameset shipped. Completely bonkers.  :o

Have you seen Thai social media? The only people road cycling there are the uber-wealthy and they have no problem paying big bucks for high end western bikes. I have no doubt this company is attempting to target that demographic.

Why would anyone with that much disposable income spend $4k on a rebranded OEM instead of $5k on an S-Works or LAB71?
